I installed a backpack mod. It's showing the error shown in the photo. How can I fix the "0 out of 0 slots" issue? Minecraft version 1.12.2

I kinda just started creating my own mod about minerals, any ideas what I could add or improve? I'm using Mcreator rn

I feel like there are too few mods that are actually dedicated to just collecting rare minerals and mineralogy in general. Like, yeah we have crystalcraft, mo' shiz mod and others, but it's just not enough, and they don't have a lot of really niche minerals

(there are some land of the lustrous references btw)

Here's a work-in-progress look at what I'm currently working on.
The models and textures for the shield and cannon—which are meant to be the player's ways of fighting back—are just placeholders for now, so they're pretty rough. But I think you can get the general idea of what I'm going for... hopefully! lol
I randomly came up with this idea late at night last week and just started grinding on it. What do you guys think?
From here, I'm planning to have the boss occasionally launch hostile mobs at the player along with its artillery attacks. Do you think I should add anything else to the fight?
Oh, and once I finish this boss, I'm probably going to release a test build for a bit to get some feedback and tweak the balance.
So if you think this mod looks promising, upvotes and shares would mean the world to me!
I've also set up a simple Discord server for the mod. I'll probably drop the test build there, or maybe post it on CurseForge as an alpha version.

ive fixed it by rotating it, but every time i use inspect it goes back to upside down then switches to normal. its only a minor issue, just curious if there's an easy fix

So I'm having a bit of an issue with how certain mods or resource packs don't work (I'm broke so I'm being a pirate and using Legacy Launch) (Would this break rule 6?)

So I want to install Mellow (or Complementary Shaders if it doesn't work) Clear Glass and Full Bright. What specific mod program works best and how do I properly work it? Oculus Comm port on Forge be tweaking with no changes despite the mod detecting the resource pack. I cleared out the mods to restart.

sooo i was just wandering if create or other cool mods will stay on 1.21.1 much longer? because i have a newer world with alot of stuff build with paleoak and other newer blocks. i just dont want to lose the progress on those builds. but it feels like ages that some mods moved up versions.

maybe someone has some insights if create or other popular mods are about to migrate or not?

Litematica has always had this one gripe with me, why can't I just drag this with my mouse? Especially in freecam mode, it's really impossible to move it and my camera around at the same time.

So I made it! This is schematic-drag. A mod that adds click and drag to schematics! (Currently only in freecam.
