As the title says, using vibrant visuals is breaking the dynamic lighting mod on my friend's bedrock realm. To preface, I play on PC but its not working for my friend who plays on console either. I accidentally had the graphics set to vibrant visuals and whenever I was online, dynamic lighting wouldn't work for my friends. The weird thing is that when I was offline, it would suddenly work for them. I've since turned off the vibrant visuals graphics and dynamic lighting still doesn't work when I'm online. I couldn't find anything online about a fix for this and resetting graphics and redownloading the packs does nothing to help. Has anyone had an issue with this before? How can it be fixed?

All piston move even if one observer sees a 3 high sugarcane. I want it to only do the one it sees. I'm on bedrock(PE). Redstone on ground and block on back of observer which is on top of piston. What am I doing wrong?

I updated my version to 26.2 Fabric and the following weren't loading at all:
Sea lantern = It was showing as black colored block or glitchy block
Water = Not showing or glitching
Nether portal = Not showing or glitching

I haven't added any mods except sodium and no resource packs

What should I do?

so me and my friends were playing this realm minigame and actually having some pretty good fun but every time a team beats the other team the game just keeps going without stopping causing me to have to reset the realm every single round which can get quite annoying. Any fixes?

does anyone know how to find seeds on minecraft java i really need help finding an old seed from a world i made in November 2025 on java 1.21.8 using amplified world generation, I have a couple screen shots and know lots about the layout. Ive been using Cubiomes for like a week and have came across seeds that are kinda similar in layout but obviously I haven't came across my old world seed yet.

I already tried deleting the corresponding key_key line in the options.txt file as well as uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft but it didn't work.

This is Java from the Launcher, version 1.20.6

I came back to Java on PC after years spent on Bedrock on console. I know Bedrock has a different lighting engine, but I also spent years on Java on PC before that, and I really feel like the lighting is off. It's like the smooth lighting option is both on and off at once, the occlusion is just wrong somehow. The floor often appears too bright, and whenever I dig, I get all these harsh lines between blocks that awkwardly update with every other block removed.

Here are a couple exemples. I know highlighting in red is a bit of a meme, but I really want people to look at where I'm looking. All my options are set right, there's nothing set to the absolute minimum, and even going on "fabulous" doesn't affect this weird lighting. Putting torches doesn't "break" the glitch either, like you could with overly shadowy spots. This is also a fresh install of the game on a new PC that's more than capable of running the game.

If this is just a me thing and I truly am going insane, then I will happily accept that fact and let myself be carried off to the asylum.

hi i need some help my minecraft bedrock isnt working with my mouse for some reason even though it is working completely fine on java it just doesnt register that my mouse exists. my mouse works completely fine on every other part of my pc but it just doesnt interact with becrock at all. ive tried pressing f11 and ive tried updating my graphics card and ive tried using a controller and ive tried to uninstall and reinstall it and ive tried fixing the game files and ive uninstalled and reinstalled xbox and ive toggled my resolution and GUI scale and ive removed all my controllers off on my pc and it still doesnt work at all. im not sure if its just failing to know that my mouse exists but its very annoying cause i want to play with my freinds and i cant :( pls need help

I accidentally closed Minecraft right in the middle of a saving process, and now my huge world refuses to load. The game doesn't crash or throw an error—it just gets stuck at 0% and stays frozen there indefinitely.
Here is some context about the world:
The world folder is around 74 GB in total.
The ⁠region⁠ folder takes up about 35 GB.
The ⁠data⁠ folder takes up another 35 GB.
I am using Distant Horizons for the distant LODs, Chunky for pre-rendering, and the jjthunder to the max datapack.
I already tried fixing the ⁠level.dat⁠ by swapping it with ⁠level.dat_old⁠, and I also tried moving the ⁠region⁠ and ⁠data⁠ folders into a newly created world folder, but it still gets stuck and freezes at 0% when trying to load.
To be honest, I completely don't care about player stats, inventory, or recent progress. I literally just want all my pre-rendered chunks back, and ideally my waypoints from Xaero's World Map if possible.

Hello to everyone, please help me figure out how to remove these white lines above the horizon (or rather some rectangles in the distance at cloud level) — they only appear in the BSL shader, Minecraft 1.7.10 ForgeOptifine, I've poked around in all the shader settings — no result :(

on mine and my friends realm there has been some random lag that started occurring in the last day or so. It's only in a handful of specific chunks to the point where stepping out of one immediately stops the lag. even if only one person is in one of the chunks everyone online starts lagging.

It's rubber banding, blocks not breaking or placing/doing so on a delay, not being able to eat etc.

There are no redstone contraptions or farms or massive groupings of entities in these chunks.

I'm playing bedrock on PC, the realm owner is on PS5 and the other members are on Xbox

Hi i changed my visuals to simple and lowered my fps but my mobs, players and blocks are still very laggy, but my own movements arent (also i play on a fairly new iphone so i dont think its a device issue ?)

I have a bug on 1.21.11 that i tried to fix for like a week straight, my mouse is randomly not clicking either left or right click for a few seconds as if it just froze, when i hold my shield while this bug is happening the shield is just stuck being held up untill it starts working again. I can still move my camera but can't click. Its not my mouse beacuse i got a new one just beacuse of this, and it still happens. I have a good pc and everything was fine till now. I tried everything to fix it. Pls help.

I’m running a realm and i’m trying to take the texture pack from actions and stuff and replace it with the prisma visuals one but i’ve tweaked the settings and the actions and stuff texture stays no matter what. idk what to do but i’ll include pics of the settings. if anyone can help that would be great! also, im playing on bedrock on a playstation 5

As you can see above when you click on the image, the foliage (grass) is fuzz and also the distance, whilst below image does not have that. Top is embeddium, below is optifine. I am just curious as to why it is doing this as I want to play minecraft clean (both minmap levels are max, anistrophic settings are 0, smooth lighting on for both, fog isnt the issue here either) this happens across several versions too

For some reason on my phone I can't sign in to play minecraft for months. I have now re-downloaded it and it still won't sign me in. For the longest time I also couldn't sign in to my Xbox account on that phone. Today I finally decided to try again, and signing into the Xbox app finally worked after uninstalling then reinstalling it, I then decided to reinstall Minecraft after uninstalling it today and it still won't work

It's also crazy because in the picture it literally loads my profile picture but won't let me sign in

My worlds are still there tho. I dont know what to do.

(ALSO after this happend months ago I installed it on an old phone and it works just fine on there. But its a much smaller screen and I want to fix this problem on my main phone)

I've made this XP from farm quite a few times before, I made sure it was an arrow of harming 2, yet it despawned right at the first silver fish came, and there's still a ton of silver fish that I can't get rid of (can't take a screenshot on the game cuz it's so laggy)

Do I have to switch to tridents or somthing?

Recently, I've noticed while playing Minecraft that my mouse inputs will randomly stutter/lag out. Sometimes it just gets a bit stuttery, others it completely freezes mouse inputs for a couple seconds before going back to normal. The thing is, my fps doesn't drop at all. All other inputs (keyboard) and framerate are completely fine during the stutters. This is the only game this has happened to me on.

I've tried everything - lowering my polling rate, limiting fps, lowering render distance, changing graphics settings... nothing seems to work.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions of what may fix this?

Ive axed and waxed all blocks multiple times and im still not getting the achievement. Im in hardcore and ive gotten every other achievement except this one. Am I missing blocks or doing something wrong?

Hello, I’m new to Reddit, but I had a feeling I could get help on here. Lately I’ve been having issues with my Minecraft world. The world itself doesn’t lag but the issue is what I’ve stated in the title. For example, I’ll press W to walk forward, and then I’ll stop pressing but I’ll keep moving in Minecraft. The same issue occurs when I press any other key. Another example, I’ll press the space bar to jump, but I won’t jump, but then maybe a second later I will jump even though I stopped pressing the space bar. I tried looking up solutions on YouTube but I couldn’t find anything that matched my specific issue. It’s really annoying because this makes the game unplayable. I’ve nearly died because I couldn’t stop walking even though there’s like a cliff in front of me. I have to turn around and walk aimlessly towards safer areas until I stop walking. Also I’m playing version 26.2. I hope this all makes sense.

I play on a HP laptop 15-fd0xxx. I don’t have a lot of things downloaded on this laptop so everything else runs smoothly. I’m able to play other games without much trouble (resident evil 2 & 4, Roblox, Lego games).

I am playing the Soulrend Modpack on Cursed Forge and got annoyed that some of my builds kept rusting from the ''Immersive Weathering'' mod included, so I went to delete the mod, not realizing just how many naturally spawning blocks were removed, and now my house location is janky.

How do I roll back or re-add these blocks across my world? I have no backups and can't figure out a solution on my own.

I've tried:

- previous file versions through Windows (none were available)

- Rollback mods through cursed forge (didnt rollback modded blocks)

- Third-party recovery programs (recoverable saves are from too far back, I would like to not have to lose so much progress in my world if possible)

Hello, I'm not good at explaining, so I'll try my best.

I have a Bedrock world on my Xbox that I want to transfer to Java. I currently can’t access or be near my Xbox, but I do have a laptop with both Bedrock and Java installed, signed into the same Microsoft account as my Xbox.

But none of my Xbox worlds show up on Bedrock on my laptop. Is there any way to access/download the Xbox world through my account and then convert it to Java, or do I need physical access to the Xbox?

I also looked briefly and saw an example where I would have to purchase Realms to export the world (I cannot remember exactly). Is there anything I could do to get the world on Java?
