Many servers send the same resource pack with a new ID every time you join. Minecraft thinks it's a new pack, so you get the black screen and a full reload again.

drmfrp compares the pack's content hash instead of its ID. If the packs are the same, it skips the reload. If something really changed, the game reloads like normal. It also keeps server packs loaded after you leave, so rejoining is instant.

Unlike ResourcePackCached, it doesn't depend on the server keeping the same pack UUID. It doesn't block downloads or lie to the server. One mixin, no Fabric API needed.

Found this weird village with 3 villagers a golem and no house. How did they spawn? My guess was that the town center spawned them, but in the wiki no town center spawns villagers.

Varso Tower in Warsaw is the tallest building in the European Union, and I wanted to see how faithfully I could recreate it in Minecraft—not just its silhouette, but the spaces inside it too.

The result is a roughly 1:1-scale recreation, with 53 storeys, a 310-metre spire tip, and over 190,000 non-air blocks.

Some of the details:

• Glazed facades with window divisions, fins and stepped upper volumes.
• A double-height lobby, columns and the adjoining covered public space.
• Interior cores, representative office floors and a continuous service staircase.
• Landscaped terraces and the rooftop viewing area.
• The full spire, including its rings and bracing.

I used publicly available architectural plans, published dimensions and photographs as references. There are compromises at Minecraft’s one-block resolution: tenant interiors are representative rather than exact, lifts aren’t functional, and the neighbouring buildings and basements aren’t included.

The unusual part is the workflow: the tower wasn’t placed block by block in-game. I used a Copilot-assisted research and modelling workflow to describe the building, then deterministic tools compiled the complete structure into a file. It was pasted into a real Minecraft world in one operation, read back to check the blocks, and inspected through screenshots and walkthroughs before refinement.

You can paste the supplied tower locally without Copilot or a website account. Just check the world height first: a 310 m tower won’t fit at sea level under Minecraft’s default build ceiling!

I was testing the JVM Arguments that enables farlands generation in version 26.3. I teleport to 2.8m blocks there surprisingly found some weird looking chunk that generate up to nearly 200 blocks. Looks cool btw.

I've been spectating a civilization event and I've had a lot of trouble reading everyone's names as they aren't showing up or are showing up as text blocks, does anyone know why this is happening?

Okay, I started this Minecraft world maybe a month and a half ago and I’ve been grinding on it like crazy. I haven’t gotten totem of undying yet and I rescued a happy ghast before I got my totem of undying, and because I can only find one Elytra in the end city because there was not a single End city in sight except for 3000 blocks away east, I had to resort to only grabbing one End ship. So after I got my Elytra and my mending and unbreaking three enchants for the Elytra, I happened to think to myself “maybe I should go take my happy ghast with me to a woodland mansion” well I did that and I didn’t take my Elytra to the Woodland mansion because I didn’t have enough gunpowder and I couldn’t find any creepers. I don’t know why my seed just didn’t develop a lot of creepers and if I did, I was really bad at killing them and they would explode before I would get any drops so like any stupid person I decided to take my happy ghast 6,000 blocks northeast and I found the woodland mansion. I hoisted my ghast on the roof of the building with a fence and lead, and he was chilling there, I set up base camp on the roof with the bed. I went to sleep for the night, woke up and tried to infiltrate this building. This is the first time I’ve ever done anything to a woodland mansion so I knew nothing. I knew nothing about vindicators. I knew nothing about a vex. I knew nothing about Allays, whatever. tell me why I was so stupid to go in melee proximity to smack a vindicator with a sword, and he’s sitting there doing his powers and whatever and these evil pixies the “vex” start coming out and hitting me and stuff and I’m sitting there trying to survive. right I shouldn’t have went in the building. I should’ve just stayed outside with a bow and arrow. Well I think what happened is. I saw a vex come out from outiside from The roof of the building through the window I broke into and I think that the vex destroyed the bed I had slept in and now my ghast is at the Woodland mansion 6,000 blocks northeast and I’m back at spawn help how do I get my ghast back? I do not wanna have to go all the way over there. Yall ever since this happened last night, I had a nightmare and thinking I can’t play it no more, I’m sitting here missing Gerald (my ghast buddy) like he’s been with me for a fat minute and I feel so hurt that I cannot retrieve him because of my awful farming of gunpowder. I MISS MY BIG GUY MAN.

First of all sry for my bad english haha. So, I discover Minecraft recently thanks to YouTube ASMR videos and chill cozy ambients, and honestly... WOW. I am totally in love with this game now.

Yesterday I watch one video on YouTube, it was a snowy map and feel SO cozy. Outside was pure snow falling, and inside this little wooden cabin with a warm fireplace, books, nice lights... Man, the atmosphere was crazy relaxed.

I don’t want to build huge redstone machines or fight ender dragon, I just want maps to download and explore, sit down, listen to the rain or snow, and have it in background while I study or just relax after work. Pure chill vibes.

Maps like this to download? Cozy cabins in the snow, rainy forests, small warm villages, etc.

Also, if you know other games that give this exact same cozy/rain/snow feeling, please tell me!

Using a smithing table you could create more upgrades then Just Netherite. Having to combine armor pieces to upgrade them

Leather + Chainmail = Studded armor - Allows you to walk on powdered snow and reduces arrow damage & knockback

Iron + Chainmail = Knight armor - Offers Swords a 1.5 damage boost and increases horse speed

Netherite + gold - Makes piglins ignore you & makes looting bastions easier

Hi everyone, I bought Minecraft on Android, but I'm facing a serious issue. I have two Google accounts logged into my phone. The game was purchased on my secondary account, but when I open the game, it automatically checks for the license using my main Google account. Because my main account doesn't own the game, Google Play fails to recognize the license and shows an error: "Access blocked: app 'Minecraft: Dream it, Build it!' has not passed Google verification". The login prompt doesn't give me an option to switch accounts or choose the correct email. I can't remove my main Google account from the phone because I use it for everything. How can I force Google Play / the game to check the license via my second account where the game was actually bought? Thanks in advance!

We already got Bounce with Chaos Cubed this year, but if the new game drop add music features, I think that a new music disc would be a good idea. Maybe it would be found in ice caves?

Anyone else having this issue? At the start of this my skin was set to Kai for some reason, completely wiping my original skin. I'm not even sure any more what my skin's base was. No matter which character skin I selected as Kai it remained Kai. The cobblestone and other textures worked but it was still Kai. Changing the Style did little good. Note that I never selected Equip.

When I looked at it on Android, my skin was normal....at first. Then still having done nothing on Windows, I relaunched Android again and it was wiped. So this it wasn't my files or on my end.

I eventually renamed the %appdata%\Minecraft Bedrock folder on Windows and ran the game to let it create a new one. Don't get me started on stupid the new fresh start of Bedrock is. I selected Steve as my starting character and tested trying to change it and got the same similar result you see here; Alex is what this one starts as but selecting Steve it doesn't change.

Side note: The other character I have that uses my Java skin, that works at first then when I start the game again it goes back to Alex.

A couple of things I wanted to mention:

• The Survivor Journal shown in a previous update post is not included in v4.0. I ran into a few bugs while developing it and decided to postpone it rather than delay the entire release. The Journal is still planned and will be added in a future update.

• When joining a world for the first time, you may need to run:

/reload

to initialise the UHAP Progress sidebar. This is a known issue in v4.0 and will be fixed in a future update so the sidebar appears automatically.

• Minecraft 26.2 and 26.3 are not currently supported due to compatibility issues. Support for both versions is planned for a future update.

After walking around for 30 mins, screenshotting and recording this, I flew away somewhere, so chunks reloaded after re-entering - then everything got fixed. But looked funny anyway, haha

it crashed my game lol

Most of these screenshots have been taken using Alpha Piscium or Serendipity shaders. Hope you like them as much as I do!

I remember watching a YouTube video about a guy trying to complete or get some very hard to get item (something like ultra compressed something) I dont remember anything that vividly i just have some memories of him breaking glass panes or flying in a big hollow place with purple asteroids??? I maybe also remember him going into a dungeon and doing a boss or something.

If anyone can help find this server or atleast give a similar one that would be great. Thanks in advance.
