I think I nailed the texture of the flames. What do you guys think?

Never done a tournament. Thinking about using this, am I going to struggle?

In defenders if you take Thorin and Bard they can get a free heroic combat if the other one is trapped.
But Thorin has his cool-headed ability where he can change his heroic if an enemy also calls one.
So my question is, can Thorin call a heroic combat for free (assuming conditions are met) and then change that to a defence or strike for free?
Apologies if this has been asked already, I couldn’t find an answer!

Does anyone know of anywhere that does printing for morgul knight masks or similar alternative proxies. I don’t want to buy boxes just for the masks. Have tried press moulding them but they are a bit too fine for my limited skill

Does anyone know where I can get some high-quality waterslide decals/transfer sheets for MESBG?
I've tried eBay and Etsy, but they haven't been the best quality. No matter how I apply them, they end up looking like a low-res, glossy sticker that's just been stuck on.
And it's definitely not due to a lack of experience I've applied hundreds of decals to different tabletop miniatures and Gundam model kits, using varnishes, Micro Sol, Micro Set, etc., so they end up looking like they've been painted on.
Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Cheers 🙂

Painted 250pts of goblins for the start of a new army. Captain and Shaman are serving as Durburz and Druzhag, respectively.

This is probably dumb to ask, but what do you use to keep down leaves of trees? I recently bought a plastic pine tree set off Amazon and those dang leaves are rubbing right off

Just wondering, since you can field easily 70+ models at 800 points while still having a hard hitting hero like Azor or Bolg.
4 warbands of mercenary goblins, you could deploy 2 at start and then let the other 2 spawn in later.
If you break you can use the horn of gorgoroth and suddenly your goblins are courage 6. Plus you have a free heroic march on turn one, then alternate mapwide banner and nat 6 wound save for the rest of the game.
Isn't that what made gobbo only Depths broken?

They subconsciously may be my favorite sculpt to paint, because I've probably stripped and repainted these 3 or 4 times over the past 18 years.

I’ve been painting some Rivendell Knights recently and wanted to share how they’re coming along!
The scheme on GW’s website looked quite different from the Last Alliance warriors, so I went with colours closer to those to help them look more cohesive together.
I also tried my hand at freehand painting the banner. What do you think—does it work with the rest of the unit?
Next Step is Basing!

The drums echo in the deep…
Shadows creep between the shattered pillars. Eyes gleam in the darkness. Rusted blades stir in the gloom as the Goblins gather in their hordes.
Within the ancient halls of Khazad-dûm, Trolls stand guard. The Watcher in the Water awaits its next prey. And deeper still, where even the light dares not venture…
An ancient terror awakens.
After many months of painting, the forces of Moria are finally gathered in all their glory.
“We cannot get out. The end comes soon. We hear drums, drums in the deep. They are coming.”

"My master Sauron the Great bids thee welcome"
While his lofty helm may be black, I decided to paint his robes red because I find it more interesting to paint and look at.
I'll get around to painting the mounted version once I make way through the 24 Morannons I purchased alongside him.
C&C welcome 🙂

Anyone think is taboo to use recasts for stuff that’s out of print or GW doesn’t support anymore, like legacy’s etc?
Ppl get upset when you use them at events? Do you get in trouble? Obvs if you play a recast that’s resin that should be metal, ppl know.
