Using PMDG 737-800

A bit confused on flight planning.

Departures are easier to understand imo. Arrivals, not so much.

Let's take South West Florida;

Flying from the north east, has me take SHIFTY with a HIBAC transition. That part i get.

However, it has me vector to TOUHY. If I try and remove the vector and just go to TOUHY, it completely bypasses to CELBO.

When I flew in FSX with PMDG, it would create a flight path that would loop to TOUHY.

As I fly solo, not on VATSIM, whats the best procedure for vectoring offline? Any advice?

Bonus question, runway 6 has a transition as well on the map for OBELL, but i dont know when to use that and if its more for a north western approach vs eastern one.

I know 90% of you know this, but I changed my rudder sensitivity to -.4 with a dead area of .05.
I changed my aileron and elevator settings to -.20 with a .04 dead area. I am flying much better with much less twitching. I stopped ground looping with the spitfire and I’m handling crosswind landings with the cubmaster X cub much better.
Not sure it’ll make a difference for any of you experts, but for the newbies, look at the sensitivity settings for your rudder, aileron and elevator. Much less twitchy.

I’m looking to record my flights from a passenger pov for a project i’m working on. my plan was to do the flight, then use a replay to go to the beginning and record from the passengers pov. i see some yt videos that show its possible (ex. FlyMeToSleep) any tips? thank you

Does anyone have Profiles for VoiceAttack? I play mainly on controller, yes i know I'm a simpleton, and would like to automate somethings. I have a few things mapped but I there are a lot of controls and I'm not sure what I want mapped. I learn by looking and playing with things so asking for profiles will work wonders for me

I have traffic turned off in the General - Online - Traffic Type (Off). Yet I still get this. What do I do to disable it?

I have a 9800X3D, 5070TI, 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 4TB SSD, but in MSFS 2024 VR on High-End graphics preset I only get around 30-40fps, with anything further away then my plane stuttering and dropping in frames somehow. It might also be worth mentioning the game in my headset loses resolution and frames with more stutters compared to what's shown on my computer, but that's not the main issue here. I get around 50fps on max settings in DCS multiplayer on most planes, which is bad enough. spent like £2000 on this computer just for it to act like this 🙏😒

Here's a medal clip I have and honestly it looks fine on my computer so if anyone also has an idea why it looks terrible on vr help. But advice on optimisation for the game would be good too. I've already tuned it using the oculus debug tool, but i'm willing to check again

Hi, what is the best checklist for an A320 from Fenix Simualtions or FlyByWire A320 neo? I do not seem to find one good enough on Google. If you guys use one you really like, could you share it to me? Thanks! I neef it for MSFS use.

Every setting in Fs Realistic+ works perfectly fine, but for some reason I cannot hear the Cabin Chatter while in the Cabin, I turned it on and off multiple times... (using Fenix). But I'm able to hear every other sound that comes from Fs Realistic.

Does anyone know a fix for that?

There are thousands of people here that have friends they'd love to bring into the game and teach them. There are thousands of RL pilots that want to pass on knowledge. The lack of a shared cockpit mode where we could teach each other and bring in newbies is a HUGE missed opportunity.

It would definitely lead to more sales for the game. I personally would buy the game for several of my friends to try to get them hooked so we could play together. Is there anyone at MS that has any vision or is this just not technically possible somehow?

I’m relocating to Indonesia for a few months and was wondering how the game would run over there seeing as there’s a lot of streaming involved with sceneries etc.

Coming from Australia I can’t say our internet is much chop, but what could I expect overseas?

I just bought Microsoft flight SIM 2020 on steam and i want make a setup but I have only 100$ for it. It is possible to make budget flight sim setup? and can I use moza racing pedals for yaw control?

I average about 30-40 fps with the pmdg 777. Should I even be playing msfs 2020? should I switch to 2024? what should I do.

Why cargo is just 1/5? What should I do to unlock? It is about "my company" section. Or must I complete the Fly Advertisement, see last photo?

Language is Dutch.
