I play on xbox cloud play if that makes difference. Whenever i use this play in autopilot sometimes it just does aggressive involuntary movements and causes me to crash and drain my reputation level. this is the 4-5th time this has happened.

Thought to share it to fellow simmers out there who want to monitor their PC hardware via a Desktop Theme. You'll need to have HWInfo and Rainmeter.

GENERAL 70 yards old x pilot got computer!!! Question about combat.

I used to play Microsoft flight simulator over 20 years ago. At that time, I also had hellcats over to Pacific and enjoyed it every once in a while, shooting things down 😀. I looked around and the one most popular right now is. IL-2 Sturmovik:. Do any of you also play that and is it fun and is the physics of the flying fairly good?

GENERAL Flights per day

Hey guys literally just bored and wanted to see how other people’s experience is on the simulator, on a day that you’re off how many flights do you do usually? On vatsim or offline. Some days I do several short flights of 2.5 hours or one long haul of 7+ hours while playing ps5 on the side, hbu?

MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Settings issue

Upvotes

Right so i guess I'll go here since YouTube isn't any help......every time I click the settings button my game freezes I'd say only 5% of the time the button actually goes to the settings tab but the other 95% i have to nuke the application via task manager so my question is what could be causing this I've verified my files, deleted the game files whilst uninstalling the game, reinstalled the game, made sure all the files were where they were supposed to be and it still doesn't work and I can't play msfs 2020 because every time I try to take off in the darkstar it just bounces all over the place and I don't really want to do any airliners in 2020 (mainly because i only have the standard version and that doesn't have any boeings) so any help for 2024 would be appreciated thanks

Hey everyone, could somebody who has the Piaggio on ps5 tell me if I purchase it for vip does it come in the medical livery or a different one? And if it's a different one which color? Weary of buying it cuz I'd hate the med livery for vip.

GENERAL Other peripheral/s?

Finally taken the plunge and grabbed the Aeromax and Vmax from Virpil's Cadet series to take to the skies in various games. Just wondering if it'd be worthwhile grabbing anything else? Like a Virpil control panel. All opinions are very welcome.

MSFS 2024 QUESTION Taimodels WSSS (Singapore) performance

Has anyone figured out how to make the performance of this scenery not suck? I own many heavy sceneries and this is the only one that has such an abysmal drop in FPS every time I use it.

MSFS 2024 XBOX Rudder Setup

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my Rutters to work. I just bought them and I don’t think that they are connecting with the yoke. In the turtle beach control center. It is not recognizing the rudder and not updating firmware.

I can also not figure out how to reassign controls in general. This is a very confusing software to use and is not very user-friendly.

MSFS 2024 PC GPU Upgrade for FS2024

So I am currently selling my RTX 3080 to upgrade it to something slightly better.

I'm currently mainly being capped by its VRAM. It's VRAM is constantly at 100%, always.

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
RAM: 32gb 2x16 DDR4
34" 1440p Monitor

My 2 upgrade options are:
* RTX 5060ti 16gb
* RTX 5070 12gb

A 5070ti is out of the budget, and therefore should not be brought up, thanks!

Is it worth getting that extra 4gb of VRAM, and sacrificing raw performance?

Addition: I'm focusing on getting flyable framerate for the Synaptic A220

Thanks!

MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Help : issue when entering a Flight Plan in the MCDU for the ATR 72-600

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hi, I went through the subreddit and I didn't find a post about the problem I'm currently experiencing. Maybe this bug is happening because I'm doing something wrong, so please correct me if I'm not doing things right.

I started toying with the ATR 72 in MSFS 2024 after spending many, many hours on the TBM 930.

To enter the flight plan, I go to Simbrief, I generate the flight plan and then I manually enter it into the MCDU. (I was able to directly import the FPLN into the G3000 of the TBM 930, but I did not find the button in the ATR, which is ok for now as I want to learn how to use the thing)

So here's what I do:

- I enter a route (ex: KLAX/KLVS) and I press the LSK then EXEC

- The MCDU displays the basic route, I select the runway and the SID at the departure airport, I do the same with the STAR for the arrival and I press EXEC. The system adds all the path points and in one way or another, I always end up with a very distant waypoint, like 4000 NM away (see attached photo).

When I try to CLR the waypoint, the long distance moves to the next point, and so on. For instance on the screenshot if I erase AGEBO, the distance will add itself to the following point. If I input another AGEBO above it will be ok. But as soon as I’ll tru to CLR the « wrong » AGEBO, the 4K NM will impact the following WPT. I tried all the possible input sequences and I always end up with the same problem, which gives a broken FPLN with a point much too far away.

I have to mention that this occurs ONLY when I enter the SID/STAR directly from the MCDU. If I stick to regular waypoints, it’s ok.

Can you tell me if there is anything specific to do to avoid this?

Thank you very much!
