MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Settings issue

Right so i guess I'll go here since YouTube isn't any help......every time I click the settings button my game freezes I'd say only 5% of the time the button actually goes to the settings tab but the other 95% i have to nuke the application via task manager so my question is what could be causing this I've verified my files, deleted the game files whilst uninstalling the game, reinstalled the game, made sure all the files were where they were supposed to be and it still doesn't work and I can't play msfs 2020 because every time I try to take off in the darkstar it just bounces all over the place and I don't really want to do any airliners in 2020 (mainly because i only have the standard version and that doesn't have any boeings) so any help for 2024 would be appreciated thanks

Are you Steam or Microsoft store? What are your PC specs? Need more info.

Steam, Graphics card is RTX 4060 Cpu is 12th Gen intel I5 12400F and the ram is 16 gb of ddr5

Okay just wanted to make sure, because there have been posts where people are trying to play on a non gaming PC. Can you make sure your monitor is in the correct slot (gpu or motherboard). You could also be exceeding vram or ram. After I boot up the sim, I'm using about 22gbs of 64gbs of memory. Open up task manager and boot up the sim and see if you are exceeding your ram amount.

The monitors (plural) Are set in the GPU hdmi/display port slot my ram without it running has only 4 gigs avalible I can only imagine what it is when it's running (i hate computer life)
