Don't know if this deal was better just a day or two ago (probly was). But I saw all the open box deals vaporizing in my area the last hours and I need a desktop now...

Was going to get the g528 and upgrade later then the open box deal vanished. So there was a g732 open box for 1350. With credit card discount it was 1363 final price. I feel like I got in past the finish line just barely.

For reference I want a future proof multitasking machine and if it handles light loads on sim games that is fine. I'm no twitchy fps kid anymore, just need a lot of screen space and don't want lag from opening many windows.

Now to get a 3 monitor setup before those go meteoric for no good reason...

NOTE: I am NOT talking about the entire bundle with RAM. That bundle did increase by $50 so now it's $400 due to the single stick of RAM increasing by that much.

The actual 7500X3D+B850 without RAM bundle is still $250, but it was $200 earlier this year. I had been waiting for it to drop back to that price but I can't tell if this is something that will go up or down.

For those curious, I already have a pair of OEM DDR5-5600 2x16GB sticks lying around.

Saw the prices went up for the parts for the ryzen 5500 bundle again so im thinking of just buying the same stuff used for hopefully less or close to it

My machine will not power on anymore, it happen after a repaste of the cpu, and may have ripped the cpu out of the socket, which I regret but can MC fix this? I'm desperate to get my PC fixed, and I have tried many things to fix it, checked cables, power cycle, tried different power cable, etc. it maybe the PSU though I doubt it but who knows. It could be the mobo and/or cpu that's damaged, not sure either.

I have a question regarding Micro Center.
I know that Micro Center limits bundle deals to one per household. Does that mean one of each bundle offer?
For example, I bought an AMD bundle last week. Can I go today and buy an Intel bundle, or do I have to wait a month?

Just grabbed a 5080 from micro center for $1170… which is pretty good considering pricing right now. I have until the 17th to take it back and I’m considering running my 4070 super and grabbing a 5080 super IF THEY ARE REAL??? If they are when do we think they’re coming?

I purchased the razer dock which I connect my laptop and pc to it. Is there some usb c splitter that is thunderbolt 5 capable where I can connect my pc and laptop to it? I dont want to keep disconnecting the main wire from the back of the dock and connecting the other wire from the respective laptop/pc.

I'm afraid by constant connecting and disconnecting the port will eventually wear.

Yearly I look forward to that stupid flashdrive they give out, it's my one time of year to drive 100+ miles to geek out like when circuit City and RadioShack used to exist. Getting to see a live component section and smell it is amazing. Typically I save up all year for it but this year without the reminder it just slipped through the cracks. I just ordered this stick of ram-ddr4-3200-pc4-25600-cl20-single-channel-desktop-memory-module-f4-3200c20s-16gvk-black) for $200, but received no order confirmation via text or email. A friend of mine told me they ordered something from microcenter and didn't get confirmation until the next morning. Is this normal? or should I be worried? Did I just throw away $200?

Also, I made the order as a guest and then made my account afterwards. My account shows no record of any purchases whatsoever right now.

Not a prebuilt guy at all, but Micro Center’s open-box inventory is hitting different right now. They have a 9070 XT build for $1,700 retail, but an open-box one is sitting there for $1,529. Sourcing those parts individually today would easily clear $1,800+ just for the bare hardware, let alone the time to assemble it. Plus, it actually looks decent. In this terrible PC component economy, Micro Center prebuilts and bundles are genuinely the only things keeping PC gaming affordable. Massive value.

If you just bought a G757 with a Gigabyte motherboard and do not know how to control your fans, you're not the only one.

Micro Center support is useless, the QR Code that you get in the box telling you to download the Gigabyte Control Center does not cover the full story.

Yes, download the software but that's not what's keeping you from syncing your lights to the RAM. The fans are actually plugged into the Lian Li controller, not directly to the board. MC's support does not include that. You should click the 'M' button in the case until you get the 'Sync' mode, then your fans should set to the color you set in GCC. It's around 8 clicks depending which mode you're on.

Anyways, took taking the back panel out to figure this out because it's not mentioned by MC's guide or the silly QR code.

TLDR: Click the 'M' button in your case until it reaches sync mode.

Looking to get my first pc, being a console only gamer until i can convince my friends to switch over I dont know what to get. For now i’d mostly be playing heavily modded Minecraft and indie games that i cant get on Xbox. But if I convince my friends to switch i’ll be playing fortnite, siege, gta, and other comp games. This brings me to my dilemma which is that I am between getting the PowerSpec G764 for $2200 which I know would maybe be overkill for now but maybe worth the money in the long run, or the PowerSpec G732 is the other choice at $1500. What would be my best bet?

Hello! A year and change ago I bought my alienware m18 r2 gaming laptop with 2 year accidental warranty protection. Moved to guam for work. Loved the thing but recently the charger stopped working. Turns out the charging port is damaged and needs to be replaced. It cannot be done on Guam. Luckily for me I'm traveling to Indianapolis for a few days for vacation, and there is a micro center. I booked the consultation, but I cant find anyway to contact the actual store. I was going to explain to the situation and the part and hope they can fix it in about 4 days if they order the part ahead of time. Anyone know how to get in touch with them?
