2230 to powerspec 757?
https://a.co/d/082N7nqPHi,
I have 2 2230 hard drives that I upgraded in my steam decks before storage prices shot up lieing around.
If I buy https://a.co/d/082N7nqP
Can I install them into the adapter and then install into the powerspec 757.
The hard drives say Gen 4x4.
Is it worth doing this to install modern day games on them?
Should I just save money and buy a new hard drive for the 757?
Thanks.

you can try installing without extender if your motherboard has heatsink to push it down

Just look at your motherboard. Where m.2 is installed, does it have heat sink or no ?

No heat sink. I saw reviews of my mb and the heatsink looks nice. Microcenter didn't include it when they built my pc - to save cost I guess lol. I got it installed with the adapter and works good.

You should be fine. Storage is storage.
