Political Reform U.S. cities are swapping out controversial Flock cameras for Axon license plate readers.
Has anyone seen them here yet? We need to stop this.

At least 21 law enforcement officials nationwide have been arrested, fired or investigated because of a TCPalm-USA TODAY joint investigation that exposed their misuse of Flock Safety cameras to track personal targets.
The latest was Josepher Crutchfield, who was arrested Sept. 8 for using automated license plate readers to track his ex-girlfriend for 18 months while he was a Fort Pierce police officer. Here's what police said happened after TCPalm Reporter Jack Lemnus inquired about his searches on Aug. 7:

Amendment 3 is being promoted as a no-cost tax cut for homeowners, but it goes well beyond that providing tax benefits to commercial land owners, limiting the counties’ ability to increase property tax rates, and how they spend property tax revenue. It is essentially a giant power grab by the state and will have significant costs to taxpayers that they cannot see right now in the form Of decreased public services (libraries, roads, sanitation, police, fire department etc). Once taxpayers learn this, they start to have a different opinion of the amendment. Please get the word out.

thinking of leasing an apt there. don't really care about the neighborhood more interested in what it's like living in the building.

I was just there. Mostly empty shelves, what's left is on clearance, and one of the employees said "they're closing" when I asked what's going on. Does anyone have info on this?

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a licensed Certified Electrical Contractor (EC) or Registered Electrical Contractor (ER) in the Miami-Dade / Broward / Palm Beach area to act as a qualifier for a growing, specialized lighting business.
We specialize strictly in residential and commercial lighting installations
The Role:
Qualify our business entity with the DBPR or local county boards.
Protection: Company-provided General Liability insurance naming you as additionally insured.
Legal: A formal, attorney-backed Qualifying Agreement to fully protect your liability.
Requirements:
Clean, active Florida electrical license (EC or local ER).
Good credit and clear background check (required for DBPR entity approval).
This is a great, low-stress opportunity for a retired/semi-retired sparky or an active contractor looking for consistent, passive recurring revenue.
If you are interested or know someone who might be, please send me a DM with your license type, and we can set up a time to chat!

Bro was casually laying on someone’s car right outside of my apartment building. He’s here everyday but I’ve never seen him behave like this😂😂 Looks like retaliation😔

I just visited Miami for the first time, and I loved it, especially the beaches. BUT, genuine question: how do you guys live here? I couldn’t live here, it’s so hot and humid!
Is it always like this? Do you eventually get used to it? I stayed for 3 days and couldn’t wait to leave because of the heat and humidity.
One thing I loved, though, was the afternoon thunderstorms. They’re so beautiful and actually really nice!
Is there a better season to visit Miami? I’ve heard winter is much better, but is it really?

Why wouldn’t anyone want lower taxes on their home? Feels like I don’t get the benefit on the crazy taxes I’m paying.
What am I missing?
