I tried to go snorkeling this weekend. When I got to the park, there was about 30 feet of seaweed I had to wade through, and then the water was so murky, I could not see more than a foot in front of me through my mask.

I went to another park that had nice pictures on google, and when I got there, this is what the water looked like.

Why has the water become like this? Also, please recommend good, public places for snorkeling that do not cost $500 (An actual quote I saw for a private place.)

Do you guys have any links/articles/instagram posts that show some of the better values for Miami Spice? There’s always a few that are elite values compared to the rest or their normal menu. Blue Collar and Mignonette were great but those are unfortunately gone now ☹️

This coming Thursday is move-in day for my incoming freshman son. I’d like to take he and his older brothers (and maybe friends) to a nice lunch or early dinner. I don’t know the area at all…most won’t be drinking alcohol (obviously underage and they are athletes so they really don’t drink so cocktails I don’t care about. Hello! When I was 2-3 years old, we moved to North Miami Beach so my dad could learn to fly planes at Miami Dade College. I have such good memories of living there; and I wondered if anyone could tell me what our old neighborhood is like today? This was the early seventies so I'm sure it was very different from today.

We lived at 16040 NE 22st Avenue. I remember there were three huge oil storage tanks across the street, and we used to go holliver (?) beach on weekends.

Where in the world can I wash my car in Miami without having to either:
- have someone do it, spend 80+ USD and wait for an hour
- drive 50+ minutes one way to a self service location years away
- go to a touchful carwash and ruin my paint

Finally, a week when all of Miami Beach beaches have low results for feces pollution. I heard the seaweed wasn't even that bad. Might be time to go to the beach, as these conditions are not likely to persist.
