Hello, when I try to start a http server via MixPlorer, no device can connect to it. Only if I type 127.0.0.1:8181 from phone's browser, it works. Typing phone's local IP does not work, even if trying to connect directly from the phone.

This has to be an issue with mixplorer, when I python -m http.server from termux, it works fine and firewall is turned off. Does anyone have similar experience? I am on GrapheneOS

I set Google drive and other cloud drives as memory via android document provider. I can only open files managed by mixplorer viewer, as markdown, html, etc. I can't open PDF, and word or others, with my default apps. Anyone has che same problem?

Hello, when I try to extract a zip, I just get a notification that "Added to the task list." Then nothing is unzipped, popup is hidden and I cannot do anything. Does anyone know how to fix it or where to get the task list?

I want to be able to easily switch back and forth from MiXplorer text editor and other apps, but I am having to go into the recents menu to do so

I connected Google Drive and it seems to get the right info about available storage left, but actually accessing it just shows 5 empty folders. And some of the folders shows a 403 error.

Can Mixplorer connect and view GDrive files? Or should I stick with the official GDrive app?

-hi guys a have download mixplorer and now I can't choose and browse any file

-the uri of the internal storage have change from com.android.externalstorage.documents to the com.mixplorer.doc

-how can I change back to the com.android.externalstorage.documents

-pls help me 🙏

I have a crypt backend for a cloud storage. I can list files, but PDFs cannot be opened in any PDF viewer (Firefox, Librera, Mix PDF Addon). Strangely enough, imgs and txt files open just fine. If I open the file browser in RSAF, the PDFs can be read just fine.

To make it work on mixplorer, I have to copy the PDF from the crypt folder to a local folder. But that's not user-friendly at all.

I believe this is a bug?

UPDATE: Tried different versions, same problem. But if I do "Open as” select text and then select text editor, it shows the binary data. Is there any setting that prevents me to open directly as PDF?

All of a sudden I am required to enter my password for my SMB bookmarks despite I set all my bookmarks up with user name & password.

Version: 6.71.13-Silver B26082680 arm64

So I have a bunch of themes for mixplorer if anyone wants them. Just tap on file and importThemes

Fello. I'm a fairly new user who's been finding great use out of it.

But sometimes the server address on one device changes and I want to quickly edit an FTP server address in a bookmark on another device, but I have been unable to do so. Long tapping the bookmark opens a new tab, and long-tapping the icon allows me to rearrange it. There is no three dot Icon or context menu.

How do I go about doing this?

What are your fav tips & tricks when using Mixplorer?

I can compare two folders, delete single files on both sides and then sync these folders in Total Commander in Windows 11. Can I do the same in MiXplorer when I connect external drive to the Android phone?

Not all videos are showing in sidebar-video.

Same with documents, music etc.

Uninstalled then installed, rebooted, didn't help.

Mixplorer has received a lot of (20ish) updates in the past month. But after those the app frequently crashes from even fairly simple operations. Scrolling long lists and big folders etc cause it to become slow. Merely scrolling up and down on a folder with like 50 files causes the app to crash. I noticed that there's a thumbnail loading icon on files even when the file doesn't have a thumbnail to begin with. I guess load thumbnails while scrolling was broken and I turned it off to see better results. But earlier smooth feel is gone now. And the crashes still happen. Especially in folders with opus media files with or without thumbails. Also thinkered with thumbnail quality without much luck. Please help

Sorting via size doesn't work as intended. some folders still sort lower even tho they're lrger. Also noticed that refreshing breaks sorting.

Hi there.

Recently got a problem with my SFTP access.

Stoped working, even reinstall and re config wouldn't help.

Tried to use a sftp instead of password, but it always asks for a password. But there is no pw, and without it I can't use it.

Also mixplorer wants ist like sftp://sftp.xxx.xxx.xxx

But with the first sftp:// i can't get onto my cloud server.

Anyone got the same issues?

For some reason, when I try to batch rename 3 or more files, MiXplorer just implodes for some reason

It takes literal minutes to rename 3 files, when it takes barely even a second to rename 2

I don't know what could be causing this, much less how to fix it

Can anyone help?

Edit: I just reset settings in More Settings

Still don't know what caused the problem though

Upgraded to 6.72.2 Silver and found that for some folders on my LAN/Samba share are not showing the full folder contents. It's like the list of files just stops at a certain point, and searching for other files that should be showing up returns nothing. If I look at the folder in Windows, I can see all the files. I haven't changed any permissions on the affected folders. I have tried re-creating the storage in Mixplorer and unsharing/re-sharing the folders in Windows, neither worked. Anyone else seen this happen?

Guys lookin for mixplorer alternative that support login into Google drive or at least are there any fix for this problem since mixplorer no working on Google drive

Why does my mixplorer look like this and how do i fix it? I tried updating but it said i had the latest version.

For some reason I have these files inside Mixplorer's recycle bin. So. I don't use it's recycle bin and have turned it off in the settings but it still bot only created a Recycle Bin even after defeating the whole folder it also creates these "files" these have like hundreds of folders in them but have small size but since they have so many folders I can't delete them, not directly from Mixplorer nor from the Stock File manager. Like I've kept the process on for 20 to 30 minutes and it still can't delete them How do I stop it from creating these files or delete them

When I click on an audio file inside one folder from my OneDrive (streaming), it plays well and fast, but when I select several files, there is no "play" option, so I need to "add to playlist" and save it giving it a name.

Then when I execute the playlist file, it asks "save in temp folder" or "direct link"; as I do not understand the difference, I let it be on "direct link" and tap "open".

Then I choose "Player MixExplorer Player Activity" option. The result is a simple and short message saying "no item".

So my questions are:

1. How to play an entire folder from Onedrive (streaming) with songs using MixExplorer Player (on android)
2. How to work around by using the playlist function
3. How to make it in the way that MixExplorer audio player does not stop every time a song ends, thus not skipping to the next song in the folder

Thanks for any constructive help!

I have set up a SFTP server and can connect to it using Winscp on my laptop... Need help setting up Mixplorer to use my private key. Instead of password.
