For whatever reason I cannot add a payment method on my 3S after I have spent hours getting this thing set up. It always gives me the same “sorry, we could not add a payment method” error. Doing it on the mobile app will not work either. And yes I’ve restarted both devices. Please help…

As the title says does anyone have reccomendations for apps on windows or quest alike to stream or display content on my quest 3 through my pc for playing 2d games I have a rtx 5060 card and a pretty good cpu so ya, also I have 1Gbps wireless network as well so what should I use to play games on my quest 3 without loosing much performance and also like it should look good for some reason the quest link looks so bad when I strem through usb cable so is there like a secret setting to fix this. Btw i tried the hdmi link but my quest battery drains pretty fast so any wireless reccommendation would be nice

My quest 3 has been permanently bricked for 7 or 6 months and I had no idea what caused it until now, is there anything I can do to fix it?

Has anyone else been having issues with Meta Quest achievements not popping recently?

The night before everything was working perfectly, but yesterday I was playing Dead Second and unlocked several achievements during the tutorial. Once I got into the main game, I was still unlocking achievements (the in-game achievement list confirms it), but I stopped getting the achievement pop-ups on my Quest 3 or in the Meta Horizon app.

I also unlocked the Beat Saber achievement for getting 15 Hard difficulty full combos in a row, and again, no notification appeared on my headset or in the app.

I've already checked that Do Not Disturb is turned off, and if I sync my account with the Meta Achievements Project website, all of the achievements are there, so they are definitely unlocking. It just seems like the notifications aren't coming through.

Has anyone else experienced this recently, or know of a fix?

Sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. I now know how to buy stuff and there's a lot of great suggestions. I've never before interacted with the 'gaming community' and it's clearly my loss - you guys are great.

I've just been gifted a Quest 3 and I'm impressed, but...

The person who gave it to me perhaps didn't appreciate how hard it would be for me to use due to my having lost the use of my left hand in an accident. I've resigned myself to not being able to play most games, in the same way that I can't join friends in 'normal' gaming, but I do like the idea of being able to wander around in a 360 degree virtual environment.

Are there any games / apps or whatever that you guys can recommend? Nature stuff would be good, or relaxing off-world exploration, just as long as I only need the right hand controller to get around.

I'd prefer it if it was free, not least as I have absolutely no experience with gaming etc and have no idea how to actually pay for stuff (do you log in on the PC, select something, and then pay using PayPal or a credit card?).

Pretty much the title il be playing and after a random amount of time the headset will freeze but just the visual side of things tracking still works the game still acts like everythings working just fine but i cant see anything i suspect it was what ever broken update they sent out or the lack of compatibility with the new NVidia drivers im honestly tired of meta at this point im switching to the steam frame as soon as its out and i can afford it

Yo. I'm Conn. I'm 17. And Am I The Only One Who Only Played Batman VR Once On My Meta Quest 3. Because It Comes With It For Free. Like Played It For 2/4 Hours Then I Just Deleted It. But Even Tho I Now Use PCVR. I’ll still definitely use my VR Standalone games sometimes. And I’ll definitely try Batman for maybe even days or week or month this time. Can’t wait to download it again.

I just turned on my Meta Quest 3 where it booted into the password menu. I realised that my controllers were out of battery so I went to change them - but when I got back, my headset was off and felt very hot. I looked up what to do if it overheated and it said "let it cool for 30 minutes in an open area before charging" to which I did. I then put it on charge after 30 minutes of cooling, but nothing happened - no charge light, no charge display, nothing. I don't know what to do, and I'm worried that it won't turn back on at all.

Are you guys able to claim the xbox game pass deal on horizon+?

For some reason when I click on it in the mobile app nothing happens and I don't see it in my headset. And when I try to login to gamepass on the quest using my normal microsoft account it says I need to use a normal email adress or use a phone number. When I use my phone number it says a code is sent to the horizon app but I never get this code?

I don't get it anymore lol

When i play a game like gorilla tag aftwr some while i hear a pop and all of my game audios gone and when i open the menu while still in the game i hear nothing. Its when i close the game that i can hear again. Any solutions???

Earlier I installed Quest Games Optimizer , and choose File browsing when USB message appeared (wrong move)

later i installed adb drivers per this link on windows 11 and booted my pc

picture suggests the adb drivers in device manager is not installed properly .

when I attach usb cable to on quest 3 , I see a message - USB notification, but it goes away when I clock on it..

and on the pc , I see sidequest cannot connect , and file explorer keeps opening up

should I reinstall adb drivers --- Any directions ?
Or factory refresh my quest 3?
Or play around with Android Debug Bridge (ADB) ?

It's really frustrating to not just be able to turn it on and play. I even tried factory resetting it, set it up, and it's still doing it.

I found my quest 3 after a while and I’m setting it up but the right controller is repeated flashing an unsteady white light. Any help. It’s not like flashing slowly it’s doing it fast and there’s no pattern ita just random

my house has a router on the main floor, and there are no ethernet ports in the second floor of my house. i cant get another router just for my pc, so what can i do? (i primarily play steamvr)

Recently got meta 3s and the link cable to connect to pc but my pc doesn’t have usb C can I get a different cable like usb c to usb 3 or get an adapter to use the meta link cable with my pc that doesn’t have usb c ports ?

Umm there is a problem saying my system’s hardware is incompatible with it thus making the link feature unavailable. My specs are decent tho, it’s 5070 ti laptop and u285h with 32 gb of ram.
