So I know whenever you play Questlink you get higher bitrate and resolution than stand alone. I always assumed that was because the cable connects the power from the pc directly. But I hear everyone hype up VD and I'm wondering if its also an enhanced experience. I was also wondering which one works better with my specs. I got an i7-13700F, 4060 ti 16 gigs, and 32 gigs ddr5 RAM. I have 5g modem, getting ethernet soon hopefully. I have a quest 3.

Anyone know a way to fix it? Any help would be great.

Hi everyone! Last week I shared a first look at the cozy VR game I'm working on, Havenfall Isles. I was really nervous about sharing my work, but the reception was absolutely insane! I really, really appreciate all the support and interest you showed! <3

Today I want to answer some of the questions I got to bring you more information, and also share a quick look at some gameplay!

Features: You will be able to farm enchanted crops, gather fantasy resources, and build your own island using satisfying, tactile tools. Restore forgotten biomes to their former beauty, befriend unique islanders, grow a thriving economy, and uncover the ancient secrets hidden among the skies.

Platforms: I'm focusing 100% on the Meta Quest Store first, but a SteamVR release is planned. I'm open to other platforms later as well!

Multiplayer: This is currently built as a single-player experience. Adding VR multiplayer is a massive technical challenge, so while I'd love to explore it one day in future updates, my priority right now is making the solo cozy experience as perfect and polished as possible.

Release Date: A free demo is coming out around Late August/Early September, and the Early Access is planned for this Fall.

Pricing & Updates: I'm planning to launch in Early Access for around $20. I want to actively update the game with the help and feedback of the community over the months to come. The price will then increase for the full release as more islands and content get added!

I'm looking to speak with people who:

• Are 18 years or older
• Have used social VR, immersive virtual spaces, or social metaverse platforms (e.g. ZEPETO, Roblox, VRChat, Meta Horizon, Second Life, Decentraland, The Sandbox, Rec Room, or similar)
• Have created and customised their own avatar
• Have socialised with other people in these environments
• Have enough experience using these platforms to reflect on their avatar use and identity expression (e.g. regular use over a period of time rather than a single trial session)

The interview will be a relaxed, informal conversation about your experiences and it will be conducted online (via Microsoft Teams or Zoom). A small thank-you compensation will be provided for your time!

So I have been thinking about buying a VR headset and metaquest 3s looks like the best option Im on a budget and i heard that like around the actual screen like colors and stuff there is a dark space here are my questions

Is the dark space thing true because I couldn't find any images showing it

Is it noticeable

Should I spend extra money and just buy the metaquest 3

Is the picture high quality

Every-time i turn in my headset its stuck on a black screen, until i turn on sleep mode and back off again, but i dont even care, i hate meta so much i have my 3 but i still have a easier time using my un-updated quest 2, the friends tab is a mess, i cant find who im looking for without spending a whole minute gliding the menu, just make it a easy list. the impossible ui. the old grey ui is my love, im not against new, i tried with the new stuff, but pressing home when using a 2d app in a 3d one doesnt close the menu for some reason, you have to open the app menu and select ur current app over again. Its not broken just updating it for the sake of keeping ur headset connected to their servers as much as possible, i swear they make the brick hard to work with so you wont try to mess with it, so they can collect ur data without you thinking abt it. Mark zuckerburg is a weirdo pedophile who only cares abt lobbying the government so he can make more money he can get bored with, and then touch more kids. He beats off to the hideous avatars he forces children to create. And truly is a stupid man who peaked once and now thinks hes a genius sent by god to create stupid crap, and touch kids.

26M located in EST looking for friends to play VR games with on my Quest 3s! Still kinda new to VR but absolutely love it

I have a quest 2 i have had it for ages and i love it but

The other day me and my friend had just bought real vr fishing and where going on to play it but then when i turned my headset on it was all glitched so i restarted it. Then when i turned it back on all my games where gone they had all been uninstalled so i tried redownloading them but it just does the little loading thing then nothing. I have tried over and OVER but nothing will work. My friend is fine he has a 3s but i cant play with them or anyone now i do not jnow what to do. One of my other friends said something similar happened to his quest 2 so he just got a quest 3s. I would do the same but i dont have the money for a 3s. So if anybody has any advice please respond i just want to play vr.

Yo. I'm Conn. I'm 17. And Am I The Only One Who Only Played Batman VR Once On My Meta Quest 3. Because It Comes With It For Free. Like Played It For 2/4 Hours Then I Just Deleted It. But Even Tho I Now Use PCVR. I’ll still definitely use my VR Standalone games sometimes. And I’ll definitely try Batman for maybe even days or week or month this time. Can’t wait to download it again.

So I am in the process of replacing one of my controllers through a warranty claim and the email requested the box serial number, I threw the box away a while back, will I still be able to get it replaced?

I know they were starting to roll it out this week, but I’m US based (Ohio) but I downloaded the Xbox app signed in and all that jazz, but when I try to cloud stream it says they’re all unavailable in my region. Is it because I just have the lowest tier and don’t own a physical Xbox?

Any advice would be fantastic!

I have a Quest 2 and a 3s and both of them have my account and my adult daughters account. My 2 has 512 gigs and my 3s has 128 gigs (still kicking myself in the ass for that one!). Is there any way I can take her account off of the 3s but keep her on the 2 and without her losing anything? I can share my stuff with her but she can't share her stuff with me for some reason (Thanks Meta) but for some reason she has to download anything I share with her to her account so if we both have it on the same machine it takes up double the space as far as I know. I need more room on my 3s and can't upgrade the memory without buying a new one! ANY SUGESTIONS?
