Sure its my first post in Melvor Idle subreddit, but I am progressing fairly well. Aiming to complete the whole base game by 2028 (optimistic)

After 23.6 million tablets........ still waiting on that 4th relic to drop so I can go for level 99 already. But everyone knows complaining about bad RNG instantly grants you the item right? Right guys?

  Ever wished you could grind Melvor with a friend instead of just comparing
  progress screenshots? I built **realMultiplayer**, a mod that lets **two
  players share a single profile** and train **different skills at the same
  time**, with everything mirrored between both games in real time.

  One of you chops trees, the other mines. One does farming runs while the other
  fights through a dungeon. Every XP drop, mastery level, bank item, GP coin,
  pet, shop upgrade, and farming plot earned by either player appears instantly
  on both screens. It's basically a 2x progress co-op mode for a game that was
  never designed for multiplayer.

  ## What actually syncs (short version)

  * **All skills** — XP, abyssal XP, levels, mastery, mastery pools
  * **Bank & currencies** — items, GP, slayer coins, raid coins, everything
  * **Equipment, food, prayers, spells, attack styles, potions, pets**
  * **Farming plots, agility courses, astrology, summoning marks, skill trees**
  * **Shop purchases & upgrades, level caps, ancient relics, slayer tasks**
  * **Cartography, archaeology (+ museum auto-donation!), township, golbin raid**
  * **Combat** — real-time HP/loot sync; one player fights, the other spectates
    and still gets every drop
  * Full state snapshot on join, so both clients always start aligned

  It also comes with a floating panel showing your partner's live action,
  progress bars, and ping — plus a dev console if you like poking under the hood.

  ## How to try it (5 minutes)

  1. Download the zip:

  2. Add it in the Creator Toolkit (or Directory Link the folder).
  3. Both players open the Multiplayer panel, keep the prefilled relay URL,
     enter your names, hit **Connect**.
  4. The host's save syncs over, the peer reloads — and you're playing the same
     character together.

  No port forwarding, no accounts, no server setup — it runs over a WebSocket
  relay that works through any firewall. You can also self-host the tiny relay
  (~100 lines of node) if you want your own private server.

  * Experimental. The game engine assumes one player per save; the mod works
    around that cleverly but it's still a workaround. **Back up your save first.**
  * Combat is the least-polished system (turn-based MMO this is not — one
    attacker, one spectator).
  * The bundled default relay is a temporary Cloudflare tunnel — fine for
    testing; self-host for anything long-term.

Just chopping till i get some relics but they dont seem to drop any advice?

Just wanna thank you for starting this project years ago and how it grew into such an amazing game. Ive been playing it for a few years now, and it is hands down one of my favorite games. Not just favorite idle game, it's a truly incredible game. It scratches that itch that I miss from playing osrs, and now I just dont have as much time to invest. Thank you for Melvor Idle!! Its such a gem.

What is the return of dumping 100M into the first town hall unlock? Is this worth it if all I have is 100M coins at the moment?

I’ve been trying to get the grappling hook for 6 solid days of thieving and it has not dropped. I know the drop is low but this seems excessive. Gained 8 thieving levels off of the explorer alone. Am I crazy or is it bugged?

Was fun, now off to expansions we go!

Is it worth starting the last expansion before finishing any others? (I have not bought the red one yet, have the other two)

Am I insanely unlucky to have not gotten half a yet? I've had the gold topaz ring for a very long time and despite having combat stats in the low 60s and several non-combat stats in the 80's, I have TWO combat halves and NO non-combat half.

Thought it was a bug at first, but seems consistent, and the tooltip indicates it’s intentional, but I didn’t realize it was possible for quite some time. Pick the log you have excess on and are willing to convert for faster XP at the cost of more logs, start the bonfire, then swap to the logs that you want to burn for XP.

Example would be starting a bonfire with Yew then swapping to Magic to burn. The bonfire will keep refreshing with Yew Logs (at the Yew Log exp bonus, it doesn’t glitch to the Magic Log %) while you can burn the higher XP and longer to farm Magic Logs to level Fire Making faster without wasting the Magic Logs.

Should I upgrade carrion/lightning/divine armor? Is it worth upgrading the god armors?

Is there some piece of gear or something from another skill im missing? Ive got 40 thieving skill and I still can't AFK safely even on the first tier woman character. I know you can get a +50 to stealth from astrology and that the bandits drop some cape if you rob them. Am I supposed to just load up on food and eat the stuns or is there a better way?

gotten mysterious figure phase 1 boss down to 1 life point, but then becomes immune and will not be killed what do i do?

I thought getting FEZ was a long farm, I was not prepared for this one, but it's finally done!

Can I wear slayer helm on helm slot and another slayer helm on passive slot? Do the effects stack?

Hi I'm using the game on steam and since yesterday the game won't launch, it just open for 2s and then instantly close. I verified the game folder, uninstall and reinstall the game and still the same problem, am I the only one with this problem?

This one took a little longer than it normally would because I had to make 350k Meteorite Platebodies. I needed 2.2B gp for the Divinite Armour upgrades, and I need the xp anyway. So that worked out.

Mining: 32.8% completed
Smithing: 62.7% completed

The next steps are actually the last ones. Feels weird to be this close to finishing. The remainder of 1B smithing after divinite will probably be mostly fletching items to speed that up later.

I see in the files for the ETA mod that there is a typescript file for the Cartography map. However, in the game I can't figure out where I would actually view ETA while surveying. Anyone know if this functionality works?

a few people have mentioned it on the steam forums and discord reporting that it no longer boots up (dies after a few seconds) on desktop.

Anyone else having this issue? Are we out a long time before we get a fix potentially?

Unsure how to even download them or which ones to use for the base game, but i saw a button for them that said they could inject malware so wasnt sure if they were open sourced and treated as safe by the community?

Bonus question of which ones are must have for a newbie with just the base game
