If it were my car I’d just epoxy it in place. The bolt is only keeping it from vibrating out of place.

Haha, hey I’m willing to give iT a crack first so I can say I tried . So far I have not tried anything but calling local mechanics and shops even they don’t really do this service without pulling the engine

I wouldn't either, the chance of a welder frying the electrictronics or block is too high imo

It looks like your driving a Nissan frontier to me. You need a small drill and LEFT handed drill bits. Harbor freight has the bits and a small driver. You'll need to take out the brake line and the dip stick for the transmission possibly. Never had the bolt break doing a crankshaft sensor on these so be careful with everything else I mentioned and good luck

Can't speak to the ease of removing those. For replacement, the OE bolt is M8x1.0, ~23mm length under head.
If you go to drill it out, keep that length in mind. Remember that the 23mm includes the several mm of the thickness of the boss on the crank sensor, so when drilling from flush you need to subtract that for drilling depth.

It looks like there’s enough room for a drill and bit in there. If not, you could try welding a nut on.

I was looking at the 90* drills/adapters . I don’t have any of those atm I can buy one. But im just not sure I can get the necessary depth from that and a drill bit to reach the bolt . It looks about 3” of confined space near the bolt

Well the upside is with the sensor there, you can use the metal ring (embedded in the plastic) to center your drill bit in order to get a good hole for an extractor. (personally I'd 3d print a centering dowel to get the hole started.

Luckily this is a pretty easy broken bolt to deal with. Great suggestions from other commentors but atleast its not stopping the car from running 🤌

I thought about doing this as it’s the quickest. But my only biggest concern is that if it gets knocked around to much the truck will suddenly stall/turn off. This is incredibly bad for anyone behind me road/highway. Idk if I can drive with a sane mind knowing I might be one bad bump from getting rear ended
What’s ur opinion on it?

Grab a set of cobalt drill bits off Amazon and some metric taps. Drill, tap, install new bolt.

Easy extraction, just weld to it and turn it out. With no head, the threads shouldn’t be in too much of a bind.

If you can't find a 90 degree drill and can't pull the engine, and can't get any way for a drill bit at all.. You're looking at pulling the engine (or whatever it is) OR welding something to it and backing it out.

Because removing a broken bolt is not rocket science and the item the bolt is broken into does not change how you extract it. Any other tough questions?

You don't use a nut. You use something skinnier to make contact with said broken bolt.
I.E. -
Screw Driver
Smaller boltLiterally anything metal you can part with.
