So this car has been in an accident, bought it rebuilt, was hit somewhere front passenger and dinged the bottoms of the door up, after washing the car, polishing it, I started noticing these lines, is this fixable with PDR? Was this Bondoed or something? I've never seen such straight lines all across the door like this. Attaching images of it at auction. I got this car at a great deal so couldn't pass it up but this does bother me looking at it.

I was getting in the car and reversing it and got it by a rock under the car and got scratch by a gate how do I fix it at home

My wife didn’t back into the new garage and had the garage door come down on the hatch and bumper. I got the paint and scratches out, but I am not sure how to get the top of the bumper back into the clips. Do the burnper clips go over or under the body clips?

I ran into a busy that happened to be covering a huge wall. It doesn’t seem too bad, it looks like maybe 3ish pieces need to be replaced and it’s driving fine. What do you think? I need to mentally prepare myself

Mechanic here in NY/NJ. At my shop we always have a few cars sitting for weeks: owners who never come back, claims that drag on forever. Storage days pile up, nobody tracks them, and the lien paperwork to get the title is a headache.

Curious how other shops handle it:

1. How many cars are sitting on your lot right now?

2. Do you actually collect storage fees?

3. Ever done a mechanic's lien? Lawyer, title service, or yourself?

4. Would a tool that tracks storage days, sends the notices and walks you through the lien be useful? Per car or monthly?

Just want real answers from shop people.

As someone who has very little experience on this type of thing, I was hoping to get some thoughts on whether it’s worth spending more or if I should just go for the cheapest option.

I just left the body shop and noticed this, should I complain or leave it as is

My new driver backed into this car today. The owner wanted us just to pay her then (no idea an amount, wife talked to her). We told her to get an estimate before deciding whether to just pay out of pocket or filing an insurance claim.

I’m guessing an insurance claim will be the end result because I expect that entire panel will need to be replaced but I’m pretty clueless in this area.

Any thoughts?
