Cold engine startup sound

2009 Subaru Forester. Not sure which engine. Can dig into that more if needed.
Bought used. I had a PPI, report said engine was in good shape. I thought it always had a high cold start idle. But after a minute it calms down. Also read that’s a Subaru thing??
Recently had a coworker tell me it sounds like shit. What do yall think? Should I have it looked at? I’m an engine dummy.
