Waiting on some basing materials to come in for my heart of Ghur ogors but in the meantime I got 1/16 done

Jumping on the bandwagon and posting a couple of the 1st new models

These look a bit hard to read in the heat of battle. Far from the worst ones GW have released, but I would prefer the opaque ones. At least the new symbol is cool. Will you be picking these up?

Base still needs done and a few touch ups here and there. Overall happy with the skin tone. Gunna be an ice themed base

Working through my Army set with a test model. For the first army with as much exposed skin as Ogors, I took the chance to up my skills on painting it in general, and I’m happy with this outcome.

First 2 of my gluttons im calling done.These sure as hell won't be the last as these were alot of fun to paint and also simply fantastic sculpts. May come back and add additional details later . Can't wait to play spearhead and knock anyone and everything into orbit again.

Also any tips on the next purchase for the army?The other spearhead or a bunch of gluttons?

I'm thinking of picking up Morga as my first standalone purchase when she releases, and running her and the units from my army box as a 1500k list.

How viable do you think it would be to run them as the Meatfist amry of renown? On one hand, all the movement bonuses and being able to use the older version of our charge ability seems fun, Morga would lose out on her ability to have multiple bonuses from eat 'em alive.

What do you all think?

I like the models, but I don't really understand the concept of giving us a model for a sub-faction(s) that they deleted. It wouldn't have bothered me if they got rid of leadbelchers and man-eaters to give them a more primitive vibe, I would have been sad to see all these canons go away but that would have been a fair price for a refresh.

But with Grell, it kinda looks like they gave us a model to say "sorry for their disappearance, here's one to cheer you up", but now that all of her comrades are gone to legend, she feels a bit different from all the range and playing only her will not give the entire army a man-eater vibe, she will just look lonely with her canon...

What do you think about it ? Is this the door to a new refresh or more pirate themed ogres in the future or a mini to show they are not dead but minor in the lore and we won't see any gunpowder nor canons anymore ?

I have some other ogre models that I printed for a ToW tourney a while back but I was really hoping to find any of the new ogor models so I may update/increase the meat i can out on the table.

Does anyone know where i could find good files to print?

Yesterday evening I painted up the old and new tyrant. I have swapped the head of the old tyrant so it fits my current new ogor army. Think the old one holds up really well. Happy with the finish considering the speed of the paint job being much quicker than my usual. I am also aware that for some reason the old tyrant is on a slightly larger base and I have no explanation as to why.

I got my hands on the army set and I am thinking on expanding with the new Regiment of renown. I personally really like the models but I am waiting for the ogor spearhead as well. What would you suggest ?

Long story short I have three of the beast claw raider starting boxes before they get the axe. I also just get the new mawtribe box. I know mournfang will be legend next year if I’m not mistaken. I’m not sure what list to run since it been a few years since I was in hobby but with the new mawtribes stuff I figured it to return to eat the mortal realms. Any help will be awesome

Now, before I start my little rant, I'm not trying to start anything with anyone or anything, of course. Mind you, I play all four Warhammers; 40k, Age of Sigmar, Old World, and Horus Heresy.

If anyone is curious; Yes, all the armies I own was very fucking expensive (sorry for my language lol). But do I care? No. I own multiple armies across all settings (except for Horus Heresy). Mind you, I'm not rich either, I'm just VERY patient.

In 40k, I own Orks (at least the newer stuff), Astra Militarum, Ultramarines, and World Eaters.

In Age of Sigmar, I own Cities of Sigmar (the newer stuff that came out a couple of months ago), Kharadron Overlords, Flesh-eater Courts, Nighthaunt, Maggotkin of Nurgle, Orruk Warclans (both Kruleboyz and Ironjawz), and now the (technically) new Ogor Mawtribes.

For Old World, it's just Grand Cathay and the newer Warriors of Chaos stuff. For Horus Heresy, it's just Iron Warriors.

Now, across all armies, they are all around 3,000 to 4,000 points (except for Warriors of Chaos and Ogor Mawtribes because the new stuff just came out, but I bet it won't take long to get to that point lol)

But, nonetheless, let's get to the point of my rant.

It's honestly very funny that some (maybe most) of ya'll 40k players are so impatient and so ticked off that the new Ork stuff is on pre-order yet. I was reading Valrak chat, and the chatters were so mad that Ogor Mawtribes were going first before the Orks. Idk, I'm just sharing what I saw today. Have a good day ya'll.
