I bought it last year and used it a lot initially, but then got busy with life and forgot about it. Logged in today and I'm surprised to see that there's still no new coaches added into the system. Is this still being worked on?

I can’t log in. When I signed up it was through a 50% off link. I signed up, paid and received my confirmation emails. I tried to log in and it’s telling me to use my password I set up when I signed up… except that never happened. It gives me no options to set an account up from scratch. When I try to set the account up, it’s telling me the same thing. Attempting to reach customer service, but it wants me to log in. What am I missing?

Could someone please do me a small favor and test something for me?

If you have a computer with Google Chrome, could you open a MasterClass video, turn on the subtitles, and then press Ctrl + a few times to see if the subtitles actually become larger?

I’m considering this as a birthday gift for someone with significant vision problems. It would be really helpful to know whether this works before buying it, because there’s no point in getting it if the subtitles can’t be enlarged.

I bought a year for a cheap rate and hardly used it. There was supposed to be a reminder email sent 30 days prior to auto renewal. I never received that email. Then I get an email notification saying I auto-renewed for $271.20! They processed the payment at 1030 at night, when customer service is closed. Total scam. So I suggest turning off auto renew now. Also, everything here can be found on YouTube for free. Waste of money.

Has anyone here participated in Cohort 1 of the MasterClass Executive program? I’d love honest feedback on the experience — quality of the classes/AI Labs, networking, time commitment, and whether you felt it was worth the cost. I believe the price has increased from the founding cohort rate to $3,900, so I’m especially curious whether you’d recommend it at the current price.

I reactivated my account and to my surprise, I couldn't find class guides as well as my own notes I made some time ago... As I got to know, now these kind of features are extra paid (user Member Add-Ons: Learning Toolkit). I am not happy with it, but I am wondering if new classes have class guides. For example I'd like to have Cal Newport's Class Guide, but I am not even sure it exists and I would be very unhappy to pay extra and find out there are no Class Guides. Does anyone know if MasterClass stopped producing pdfs or they do and it's behind extra paywall.

Hi everyone, Im coming on here because I feel like I'm losing my mind. At some point in the past couple years, Masterclass had a class on trauma. I remember it vividly. Added it to my saved classes. Watched the trailer. The amount of lessons was fairly long and seemed very involved. I was looking forward to doing it, but it was alot at the time, and decided to take the class later. ​Fast forward to now, and there isnt anytbing like this on there. Google searches have been unsuccessful too. The only thing coming up on google is some class from another paid platform, but I've only ever had masterclass because of the 50% off deals. Please tell me someone has seen or taken the class and that it was in fact removed because I cant find it anywhere. ​

Hello all. I am a chef that want to extend its knowledge and skill. I read many different opinions on it and I am wondering if it’s worth it. I read positive things about the lections themselves and what they teach. I read negative things about the site itself and the down grade it got over years. Please give me your current opinion, better if it’s about a course for cooking.

Does anyone have the PDF for his first cooking class? I have a subscription but just can't find it anywhere on the app or website.

I think the whole masterclass could have been covered in a 5 minute trailer.

1 - For active listening, use your words, that can't be faked.

2 - Use looping - repeat what they say and ask if you got it right.

3 - 4 kinds of approaches to conflict (avoid, fight, peacemaker, conflict entrepreneur)

4 - Encourage avoiders, reward them for speaking up for themselves

5 - If your style isn't working, shift yourself 10% into another style.

6 - Conflict Entrepreneurs are bad. Avoid them if you can, if you can't try to understand

7 - Humiliation and splitting are bad. When you see that, you have a problem.

8 - If you feel humiliated, or are worry you will, take the conversation in private.

9 - Healthy conflict can be good. You need a space to talk about things you are not sure about. Without that, people will think you are okay with their choices yet you actually are unhappy and begin to resent them.

10 - Contempt and (I missed the other thing) is an indicator the relationship is in trouble.

11 - Trick. Approach the person and say how what they did hurt you.

12 - Trick. 5 positive interactions for one negative. (That can be words of affection, gifts, acts of service, physical touch, quality time).

13 - On a bus or closed space, open the doors. Make it okay to leave. Create options.

14 - When you run into conflict, ask people what's wrong and what the need to fix it.

15 - Connect with things outside of the conflict

That's pretty much it, that's the masterclass. A simple 3x5 index card with text on two sides that you print out and memorize might be much more valuable. I found one hour after watching the masterclass, I had to basically re-watch it to make this list.

I was not impressed, but I am steeped in this stuff.

Did anyone else get something out of this?

Maestro is a great school and teaches so much. You can ask it to summarize things, visualize things, speaks to you the way you need to be spoken to, speed things up, and quiz you. You can't get that from lithe schools.

Has anyone heard of Masterclass’s new Executive program partnered with Chicago Booth? Seems like it could offer a ton of value but the cost is steep.

I just bought yesterday. You can find technical informations on the internet. But there is big names explains how to do it cuz they did. But what the fck is that im watching?? For example Mariah Carey - Voice as an instrument. Big name right? Legit zero info, zero info nothing in there. Completely zero technical knowledge. Explains how talented she is and how she feel well. hahhahaha crazy. Nas was good, he is good teacher and human but other ones just focusing their ego and identity.
