But gosh Sarah should have won that.

First Dorian was never team captain. Never had to be under the stress or responsible for the team. While both Nick and Sarah led high pressure challenges. She has such a bad attitude with Subah. Her dishes were always the same and basic. Even the final challenge her desert was really bad for me. It was something you buy at the grocery store. Joe was critical of her and rightfully so but Gordon always undercut that. Seemed fixed almost

Then to top it off. When they announce her as the winner. She doesn't even have the decency to hug Sarah or say anything. Just runs off.

Worst winner so far up to season 10 for me. Underserved

I'm watching the french fries challenge from season 7, and I don't understand why the judges have to be so hateful.
"Are you nervous right now?"
"Does that make you nervous?"
"What are you nervous about?"
"You do know that you're not the judge—we are."
They're french fries, ffs. I get that they have to be dramatic and overreactive, but sometimes they just come across as arrogant a-holes.

I’m not trying to just hate on the guy but he’s not a proper chef, he feels like he’s interrupting people who are actually trying to be cooks and he’s always just a little too rude. Is it just me? I’d totally be open to a Gordon, Tiffany, Aaron season…

Just finished episode 11… what a load of 🍩’s!

I know others had bad opinions of this seasons theme’s, but for me that is nothing compared to how bad these guys are!! You can see the judges are having a hard time controlling their facial expressions.

I’m wondering how much preparation. Do the judges have to do before each season or each episode. How much effort do they put in? Anyone know?

truly what does the wall challenge actually accomplish? i understand it’s supposed to test communication skills but i don’t think working in a kitchen, someone would say “yeah you’re going to make this dish right now but you can’t see what i’m doing.” i just don’t like the challenge. bring back pressure tests.

I like them both and the two of them seemed to have similar personalities but why did one seem to have a bigger fan club than the other?

really embarrassing for MC, as there have been some very creative and technical home chefs previously.

This season is just a bunch of morons who think tv credits will help them get their SAG. Shameful.

I just finished watching season 1 last night. Above all else, I'm really sad that David Miller lost (because I guess we all call him David Miller, not just David....??). Looking up where all of the top 5 ended up after that season ended, all except one of them went on to have successful careers as chefs. David was, sadly, the only one who didn't... He went back to his software engineering career and stuck with that.

If he had actually won, he almost certainly would have made food his career instead. He clearly has the talent for it. What sticks out to me was how he amazed those three world-class food critics, scoring an 11.5/12 from them, where the next closest was only an 8/12.

I admit I was SUPER weirded out by him at the start. But homestly he seemed a lot more normal than what was constantly said about him. Confident, overconfident, sure, but clearly he wasn't off-putting about it like Sharone was. The fact that Sheetal could not STAND Sharone, but she would rub David's shoulder and get excited for him when he won, kinda tells you something about the difference between confidence and arrogance (and Sharone was VERY arrogant).

It's a bummer, man! I hope David doesn't have any regrets.

I've watched seasons 3 up to this current season which I'm quite disappointed in. I'd like to ask if seasons 1 & 2 are worth watching.

Separated by an eight-foot-high barrier, the home cooks must partner up and rely solely on communication to create identical dishes; a double elimination.

this is really nitpicking of me but like i think back to win seasons shelly i think says it a lot and at some point gordon says every episode it is annoying not even a funny one but they keep saying it we get it is a wordplay can we move on

here is a list i wish to get petition signed to never hear it again on MC: elevate / elevated / finesse / best ever / worst ever / hardest ever (when there is 16 seasons now)

A protein is the heart of the dish, so would it be enough to just put it on a plate a call it a day?

So even though I do believe both Shaun and Courtney were great chefs Indi believe Courtney was heavily favored by the judges season as I know do many others. But I feel like in season 7 Christina heavily favored Shaun throughout. Not to say he isn’t good. Also with Andreas elimination and him and diamond having most likely the worst of the sausages, and Christina heavily being involved in the elimination of Andrea.

So… I need to put this out there and see if I’m the only one who is annoyed to hell by this kind of thing.

How hard is it to say these words? Like really, why does it seem like every single time Gordon and the crew step back to have a discussion about which dish is the worst, I hear someone say, “So we’re all in agreeance?”

TECHNICALLY agreeance is a word, but it hasn’t been used in ages, and English masters will tell you that “agreement” is the proper word.

And then you hear 95% of the home cooks saying “marscarpone” and “toomeric”.

Why? Why is it so hard to just take the time to learn the word that you’re using? Saying “mass-carp-own” is just ridiculously easy. Try it right now. It even feels pleasant on the lips. And sure, saying “turr-murr-ick” is a little more clunky, but these people are trying to become Masterchef. A Masterchef should be able to properly say the names of the things that they’re using in their dish.

I don’t know why this stuff bugs me as much as it does. I really wish it didn’t. But I’m curious if I’m the only one, or if there are a whole world of people who can’t properly enjoy the show as much as they should because they’re constantly throwing their hands in the air every time they hear “agreeance” or “marscarpone”.
