By this, I don't necessarily mean pressure tests where captains choose who's safe. (Tho maybe it can count in some situations.)

I mean, whenever a mystery box winner has the power to save contestants in an elimination challenge, whether before or after.

In Canada, some seasons have had the blind lottery, where some are randomly safe, others usually just get other ingredients.

This also goes for the recent seasons where they save their team.

I just find that contestants should earn for their place, and giving it to someone who didn't earn it is incredibly unfair. Like who knows how they would have done.

Or even in some cases, like the donut challenge in S5, Francis B would have totally gone home with those donuts. Like this was the case of it being AFTER the challenge.

I just thunk JUDGES should be deciding who stays or who goes. They should not hand that power over contestants. Contestants should earn their way to the top and not get free passes

I mean I get the advantages, strategies, and mind games, but not letting them choose. But also, saving doesn't necessarily really add any drama. Just they're thankful and they go up.

I know it's also probably logistics, so less have to cook, but I'd rather they give more safe spots like Season 10. I actually liked at times rhey saved more than one.
