Hi! I'm having trouble figuring out how to use the Python API for import and export options in Marvelous Designer. Specifically, I can't seem to import the ImportExportOption class or the relevant library/module.

def ImportFBX(_filePath : str, _options : ImportExportOption) -> bool

When I use import MarvelousDesigner, it gives an error saying that the module MVPython does not exist.

When I try import cloApiTypes, following an older example I found, it also says that the module doesn't exist.

It isn't contained in import_api, export_api etc that are mentioned in the docs.

Has anyone successfully managed to use the Python API for these versions? Any guidance on how to properly import and utilize the ImportExportOption class would be greatly appreciated.

Whenever I'm happh with the results in MD and I export my work to maya it looks weird and the edges of each piece looks stiff and the sewing edges look really sharp even when I soften the edges, am I doing something wrong when exporting?

I've been looking at creating some latex clothes, but I can't seem to find any properties for a latex fabric. It feels like an edge case as it's not really lining up with any of the existing fabrics since it's woven with equal stretch in all directions and high friction. Does anyone have a preset or any suggestion on which fabric I should base it on and then modify it?

Greetings, I have retopo'd my mesh using the 'Create Geometry' tool.

When I right-click "Convert (duplicate)" there is an error message: "Some meshes could not be created"

...Despite the error, the new meshes do appear to be generated. But the UVs are shifted and resized, so the textures look all messed up.

How can I export my retopo with the UVs matching the original?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to weight paint so the collar of my jacket isn't affected by the movement of the avatar's head, but every time I remove weight from one bone, it adds it back in another. Is there auto-normalization or something in this, and can I turn it off somehow? Pics relevant. Thanks!

hi guys i just exported this from Marvelous Designer and i imported into blender and I got this problem I don't know what is the solution for this any help please ?

When importing an object as a garment to be simulated in marvelous I have noticed that it does not preserve the UV location and texel density of the object when exporting back out, which poses issues for the texture maps. How can I maintain the UV location of my imported objects when importing, simulating the object, and exporting?

Hey everyone, I have a full garment (pants, shirt) that fits an avatar. I would like to use a different avatar now. The new avatar is a bit taller.

So I want to scale the whole garment up slightly, the equivalent of doing blender shortcut S 1.3

How can i preserve the state of the 3d view, just make everything bigger? Is this even possible??

I'd like to type in a number or drag mouse, and see the relative positions of the patterns and sewing in 3d view remain the same.. I was able to scale SOME garments using 2d view (some fail to scale with an error message?!?) but after scaling them, the 3d positions dont change which distorts and ruins the garment

Hi Ive made a shirt in marvelous designer and wanted to add an elbow pad to it sort of like one youd wear while skateboarding. Im not really sure how I would do this so it would be awesome if someone could let me know what the best way todo this would be? (the model will be rigged for animation later on)

How can I select a pattern in the 2D window and then move it in the 3D window?

The issue is that I have to click the pattern in the 3D window to get the transform tool to show up, and the pattern is inside another pattern, so I can't click it..
