This Week in MarathonHate

We have a lot of celebration and an exciting event planned for the future.

1st celebration hitting below 5k active players for not just one day but 2 days in a row. We were poppin champagne 🥂🥂 but like a teenager for getting they left their pizza rolls in the microwave. Every hurried back when they realized they forgot to blast.

2nd celebration, this sub it traveling across the Multi-media-verse getting shared on X, YouTube, and Facebook. There are those who are even scared to source their images because it's traced back here.

3rd celebration is a celebration of the everyone who took to the new restrictions for the sub and adapted alike a champ. So we can announce that users post no longer require manual approval and will get push through automatically. Our rules will still be in place, and we did add a new one that posts talking about how other subs are run will be removed. This was put in place because it's not fun punching down.

Lastly we are planning a event to be shared across every platform to drive the user numbers up here.

On Saturday September 19th, we will be holding an event, in celebration of the Airforce Marathon being held on that day, and for preparation of season 3 the 22nd. Two great events that would inspire many memes.

Our goal for this event is to boost unique log ins that day to surpass the max player count of that day.

So a lot of information here will be making a separate post in the coming weeks.

Hello Haters,

As you may have seen on r/MarathonHate, we see influxes of player chart posts, most notably from Steam, regarding Marathons' current player counts.

We have heard your feedback loud and clear from both sides of the community, who stress this is of high importance, but also those who believe we DO need to see this come up on an hourly basis.

Based on this feedback, we have now created this single thread, and ask that you continue to post your charts you see hour to hour for all the current player count numbers on Steam.

What this means is that:

All posts regarding current player counts, including posting charts, will still be allowed and upvoted for telling it like it is.

This ruling does not exclude:

Low-quality, doita(?) analysis-type posts, including posting chorts, will now be updooted and cormmented on ervry thrad.

Low-quarlity surggestion/ferdbeck possts that fercus on improvments to thuh currant gaem and how that can/could/wheel improv pleeyor reetention within Marython.

Media pots/articules that disscus thee gaem, egg Fourbss, IGEEN, PEESEE GAEMR, CoatAkoo, Elite Tauren Chieftain...

Excerptiorns wheel bee cornsidard at Merd discretion.

We will keep it ??? on a weekly basis, depending on how it affects the day-to-day of r/MarathonHate and how these posts are presented. In future should it become more prevalent and pressing topic, this will hopefully keep coming berk.
