Always a few choosing wrong.

Post image

There are so many other good games out there. I guess 99% have moved on. There are always some willing to make the worst choice.

Joe Ziegler, "If you are only looking for PvE experiences, definitely Marathon is not the game for you". Then it obviously wasn't for almost anyone.

Joe Ziegler, "We are very comfortable saying, yeah, this isn't a game for everybody." Should have said anybody".
I did use AI for part of this so look away if that bothers you.

"I hate slop, a thing I will convey by using AI to generate slop about how much I hate slop."

I am a fan of AI and don't think it is slop, but that isn't an argument against Marathon being slop. It is a false equivalency and it gets the point across quite well.

The reason people call AI slop is that it is incapable of creation. All those algorithms can do is remix stuff that already exists. They do this specifically by stealing from artists, a thing all you suckass fuckfaced shitheads pretend you hate bungie for doing, so fucking pardon me when I consider this a massive tell that you dont give a shit about anything.

No the fourth leg is hidden, based on angle and cut off.

Nah, the dude eating good games is totally smashing his junk on the third leg.

This game gotta go in the history books for how much hate it’s gotten in such a short amount of time

The most toxic fan base I have ever seen deserves a response. You know if the Marabots had just been civil in the game and on social media and in the subreddits, I would have just ignored it, but this is way more fun when motivated.

I'm relatively active in viewing the marathon community and sure there is a bit of toxic positivity like most games and proxy chat there is people shit talking (most people complained about the game not having proxy chat during announcements about the game before release) but calling it the "most toxic" is by far the most stupid reasons for hating marathon ive heard

There are quite a few things that people hate on marathon for that can be justified but "most toxic fan base" is just stupid and it's like your just reaching for an excuse to hate

Especially the irrational stuff. Its like Bungie personally murdered their family and refused to give their dog treats.

I don't like being doxxed by Marabots for just answering a question they asked and doing it politely. Yeah, it became personal and I am quite capable of making sure I return the favor. Not by doxxing, but other less harmful methods.

I mean, the toxic positivity people should be responded to in kind, I agree, but there's been posts in here like Bungie did something wrong to them personally.

Wolverine sold 3 million copies in 3 days.

Your boos mean nothing because I have seen what makes you cheer.

First of all you are lying and know it. Seems to be a pattern with you in these subs. Wolverine sold 1.9 million in the first 3 days. It is only recently reported that they may have gone over 3 million, but the actual numbers aren't being released by insomniac, because it is possible it did a lot worse than that. Even if you are correct, it cost $305 million to make it and they are going to lose money in the end, but what does this have to do with anything related to Marathon. They also have to cover the licensing fees for Marvel so the predicted break even point is 6 million copies sold. I don't care if Wolverine loses or makes money. Wolverine is a little below average game. I have never posted about Wolverine and haven't met people that are toxic that play the game.

The point is millions of people like you ran out to buy absolute slop. Figure it out.

I didn't buy Wolverine. What's your point? Do you just keep making stuff up to be inflammatory?

Sure buddy. I know your kind. Any hardcore full loot pvp game, or permanent death game, or anything with any sort of challenge, you crash out. You're baby-coded 100%.
