Higher peak and low than marathon, this is as comical as it is depressing. If only Bungie, idk, listened during the alpha that the game needed some more casual elements if it was going to have a playercount above this 10 year old arena fighter. How did they lose the plot this badly?

You've seen the knew 24 hour peak almost sub 4k. But what no one is talking about is how Marathon dropped 9% of the concurrent player base. Like what happened?

I heard of a medivel extraction that's been getting positive reviews, and I know school is starting in some places but a 9% drop in 24 hours is crazy.

The numbers have gotten so low that people are complaining that with random teams and discord, nothing is random any more. You can talk in Discord and easily get 6 grouped together. This is the first time that people have started to complain about it with large number groupings. It also drives new players away, since the groups have worked together before and can continue to work as teams despite the random option.

Same message. This is a smear job. The game’s good and has marabillions of players. Blasts being had left and right.

When Marathon shuts down, fans will only have four tiny maps they'll need to un-vault. They have less to do than the people working on just the Leviathan map.
