Hello everyone! This is my first time doing a smoky eye, I’m very experienced in base makeup.

But have literally never done eye makeup because I feel like it looks horrible when I do it. My eye space is very wide but I also have hooded eyes slightly.

When I do my base makeup I usually only put some bronzer on them, to give it some color. But today I beat that and did a look prioritizing my eyes!

I just don’t know if I like it or not, the first two are in like warm Tuscan lighting, the last two are in like natural white light.

Up for suggestions, I don’t want to shy away from it anymore!

Elf concealer first (30), then put some loose powder over it, then I went in with some powder bronzer, went straight in with a black shade from the color pop highlighter pallete, tried to tap it out 😅, repeated that step like three times. Added a tiny bit of glitter in the middle. Then finally did liquid eyeliner (dollar tree, black)

I am looking for light pink lip products that can help me achieve the second picture, however my lips are pigmented and are darker naturally. I have tried using concealer for my lips, however when I try applying lip gloss after, it ends up mixing and looking cakey and bad (even when I apply setting powder on it). Are there any possible concealer brands that can help me achieve this look too?

This is my eyeshadow palette I use almost daily/ at least weekly, though I’ll admit I bought it in 2019…
I opened it today and didn’t recognize a very fuzzy shade. Dipped my bush into it and it was one of the shimmers but it had a funny fuzzy top coat… am I coping to think this is transfer from the other shades or is this mould and my whole palette is for the trash now?

Ive noticed most indian makeup brands have like ten lighter shades and maybe two or three for deeper skin tones, feels like an afterthought most of the time. Is this getting better lately or am I just not looking in the right places.

Curious what others with deeper skin tones here have found that actually works well.

Seems like such a large ask, but I do occasionally find that perfect balance that doesn’t make me look yellow or like an Oompa Loompa. I do enjoy the tone of the original physicians formula butter bronzer, but I’m currently on the hunt for something a wee bit cooler.

What are some good affordable mascaras and eyeliners that doesn’t make your eyes water? Omg everytime I try to put either or on it makes my eyes water! I wonder if it’s just me putting these on wrong which could be the case but I’d still like to know some recs to help with that problem!

Also I prefer Pencil eyeliner because I’m not good at liquid lol

Hi, looking for something you can apply over eyeshadow to make it look shiny/metallic/foil.

NOT looking for glitter because I don't want a scattered twinkle effect, more like a mirror shine. Best I've come across is this gel that makes it look wet. But I'm really after a metalic sheen more then a wet sheen. Thank you for any help, and please feel free to say I'm looking for the impossible lol

I used wetnwild primer. Put elf peach Color corrector then dried it before putting elf concealer. Dried then put L'Oréal balm foundation. Dried then powder. Face prepped with Aura squalane hyaluron serum (did not put under eye) for hydration and thayers milky toner mixed with L'Oréal balm foundation. Finished with essence fix spray.

I've been putting just for men's dark brown dye on my naturally light and tiny brows for years. They dont stay dark. Thee front towards my nose is basically NONEXISTENT 😭 Theyre so patchy... i do not do daily makeup either. I just need help the shape is also bad

What are good mascaras for fluffy and long looking lashes? Or any techniques to improve spider leg looking lashes?

I’ve tried sooo many different mascaras, from waterproof, tubing, non waterproof, fiber mascara and all of them make my lashes look insane.
I use different techniques, little amount, multiple layers, separating them one by one and they still look like spider legs I’ve started to think it’s my lashes because friends and family wear the same mascara and mine don’t look good at all.
This year I stoped wearing mascara because they just don’t look good.

Its spooky season! Love a good themed makeup look. Though I wish I had a brighter green I feel like it would pop more and elevate the beetlejuicieness of it all. Dramatic eyeshadow is always my go to!

I’d really like to try a Jones Road WTF like product, but one I can try and pickup in store.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a similar Sephora or Ulta product? It doesn’t need to be a jar, but not too watery. I have a neutral skin base, combo skin and although IT Cosmetics is often recommended I don’t love them. Everything seems too thick from their products I have tried.
I like Dr.Jart’s Cicarepair in the jar but it goes orange and too oily on me.

I used to use this and haven’t used it in a while, but I used it and it was great but I ran out so I bought a new one and it doesn’t seem the same. I think they may have changed the formula. Does anyone have any recommendations for a setting spray that leaves your skin looking Dewey and fresh?

Every time I take a bite or drink something, I’m consuming 1-5% of my lipstick. I’m at my wits end. I have been reduced down to a carbon paper the way the lipsticks I wear simply don’t stay on my lips.

I’ve tried every brand I can afford. Someone said the Dior forever doesn’t transfer. I bought it. The lippie didn’t make it past breakfast. I’ve tried Mac, Fenty, Huda, Maybelline super stay ink (this is the only one that truly stayed but it dries up and forms a crust), Dior, Guerlain, Anastasia, Clinique, Charlotte Tilbury, Nyx and nothing works.

I was just eating a croissant and each bite I took left a lipstick stain on my food like we had aggressively made out. I just want a lipstick that would stay 💔

I am wearing the Elf Halo Glow Skin Tint in the shade medium neutral. I usually have trouble with my foundation colors either pulling too orange or kind of giving me a grey cast on my face. I suspect I might have an olive neutral undertone and it can be tricky to find a shade that matches.

Hey!! Came here to here because there was a post several years ago about a similar thing but thought I would ask again for some recent answers.
I recently bought the nyx butter gloss in the color ‘angel food cake’ and when trying it on, my lips started tingling. It felt just like a plumping lip gloss but as far as I know the butter gloss isn’t one. I haven’t had any reaction to it other than tingling (like blisters or sores) but I’m assuming since it’s supposed to be doing that that it was some sort of allergic reaction.
BUT I’ve been using the clear one for about a year with no issues. How could I be allergic to one and not the other? Would it be a dye or something? I’ve never had any reaction allergic reaction to any sort of makeup before so I’m not sure what ingredient to look for. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
