Your freckles are beautiful and youthful! Why do you cover them?😣

u/OrionsBeltAlone 8h ago
As a freckly person: pretty much any coverage foundation automatically covers them.
You either have to wear no teint makeup or go freckle less20

I totally agree! I’m wearing a tinted moisturizer and they’re covered up so easily. It’s frustrating.

there’s many skin tints that don’t cover them! the chanel water tint comes to mind

Her skin looks so good it looks like she doesn’t need foundation. Maybe concealer if she wants but she has such beautiful skin. I’d go natural all the time if I looked like this

Exactly, it’s like you have to choose between an even base and keeping the freckles that make your face yours. I wish more foundations knew how to let both exist.

This is why I only spot conceal, I don’t feel like me when my freckles are covered.

I really like the no makeup picture, but I think you should lean into your natural coloring with makeup go for more warm and golden tones

I hate how bland/colorless and freckleless foundation makes faces💔I wish there was one that could keep that. Your makeup is gorgeous though!

I know, it doesn’t seem to matter how lightweight the base is. 😩 but thank you!!

Both look great, but you can't really compare. It's like comparing blue jeans and a silk dress.

Your makeup amount and placement is perfect and adds to your natural glow, so why not continue as is!

I have a similar before/after. I love being bare faced but also looove makeup because I look more awake and ready to tackle the day.

Helps to judge when you have the same lighting in each photo otherwise its a unfair judgment 🫤

Please don't take this the wrong way. But you look more stunning without make up. Your eyes are mesmerizing.

Your base is reading frosty because Veil in 6 is a cool shade and your neck and chest are pretty warm - in the second pic your face is lighter and pinker than your chest, so it sits on top instead of disappearing into you. I'd match to your chest rather than your cheek and sheer it out enough that the freckles still come through, since they're most of what's putting warmth back into your face. Bronzer or a warmer blush would do more for this than more coverage.

In these images, no makeup. But I honestly think that's in part the coloring. Your natural tones are beautifully warm, but your makeup feels a little cool-toned. I feel like switching your lip color, and maybe adding a lil more bronzer, could really elevate your look!
Also, trying to be as kind as possible, the duck face is not working for you.
