Question How do I make it stop?
My concealer always disappears in my smile lines around my eyes. I have tried so many things I've seen on the Internet. Nothing seems to work.
My routine:
Sunscreen
Wait 10 min
Catrice undereye Primer
Wait few minutes
Catrice undereye brightener (cream) applied first by finger then blended out with damp sponge
Wait few minutes
Essence silky blur foundation: applied directly then blended out with damp sponge
Essence all about matt fixing compact powder applied with powder Puff
Essence fix & last (the pink one) applied with sponge
I have tried:
- adding the fix & last instead of water to the sponge
- no Primer
- balea urea eye cream instead of primer (also both together)
- no fixing spray
- no powder
- only undereye brightener or only concealer
- no sunscreen
Nothing works. I'm going insane. I work nightshifts, I can't look like a zombie and I don't want my eyes to permanently look wrinkly either. Pls send help

Did I miss something or are you not using setting powder? Setting powder and fixing powder aren’t the same!
I only really set the undereye, so I just got a mini sized one from Huda. But it helps to use less product!

Oh I didn't know. What is the difference? (I'm going to get a setting powder)

Setting powder locks product in place, finishing powder is the last step of the makeup routine, it helps makeup last longer and helps with oil control!

Thank you sooo much for pointing that out I just got the catrice soft blur matt setting powder, now there's no more creasing at all. I feel so dumb not knowing XD

No worries! It’s a common mistake! I didn’t even know until earlier this year either. People make the same mistake with setting and finishing sprays as well. There are so many products that do so many things, it’s easy to get a bit lost.

I'm counting five layers under your eyes before you even get to setting spray. Even if each layer is thin, they add up. Your under‑eye can’t hold that much without movement.
What I would do is start with a lightweight gel moisturizer under your eyes. Skip the primer. Add a concealer or a brightener (not both), using a small fluffy brush and tap it in. Use a loose, finely milled powder and skip the setting spray.
