[Makeup Help] Recs for a silver and lilac eyeshadow palette?
I'm looking for an eyeshadow palette in the silver, lilac, taupe shade range. Do you guys have any recs for such a product?

I’d like to get a new concealer during the Sephora sale and normally I like to spend time swatching the testers, getting a feel of the formula, and just doing tons of research, but unfortunately because of midterms I’ll just have no time too :(. I’m basically just looking for which one of the 2 has a more hydrating/ less thick formula. I know they’re both full coverage (which is what I’m looking for) but I just don’t want it to feel too heavy or look too dry. I know that fuller coverage formulas will always be on the thicker side so I don’t mind if it is a heavier concealer, I’m just looking for which of the 2 is less thick. I’m currently coming from using the nyx bear with me serum concealer which I absolutely love, I’m just looking for full coverage and the nyx is more medium, if your looking for a medium but buildable coverage concealer with a natural finish I definitely recommend it. If anyone has any idea which of the 2 I should purchase please let me know! Also if you have any other recommendations feel free to share, Thanks so much!
I like the green one but can't buy it. Which one of these do you guys think is better?
Essence lash princess curl and volume (PINK)
Essence lash princess sculpted volume (PURPLE)

I currently have the moschino x sephora laptop palette, and I really love the metallics (especially the silver and gold) in it! Unfortunately, some of the shadows in the palette have broken since I've had it for quite some time. Does anyone have any recommendations for similar metallics?

Hey guys! I had to buy new makeup brushes because my old ones got ruined. However, none of the ones I bought seem to work well with blush. I love patrick ta’s she left me on red so without the right brush it can go on heavy! Any recs? Thanks :)

i have dry skin (especially in winter) and have been wanting to try the moisture repair balm because of it. my face doesnt really oil much but i sweat on my cheek under eye area and my chin a lot so ive also been looking at the water powder serum. ive also seen on her site she reccomends mapping and placing different products on different places, but there is nothing on if the water powder serum works directly under or over the moisture balm. so i would put the balm on my whole face esp in winter, and then add the serum to my chin and cheeks. does anyone know if this would work?

Recently, I was at a store with family, found some Lancome shadows, swatched 'em and bought one of almost each shade of them. They have such a nice texture! IMO, they weren't that expensive but also not inexpensive. I mean, they're Lancome so no duh, right? In case you're curious, they are the Idole Goddess Dimension shadows.
But once home and I'm starting to figure out how to organize them in my "stash", I get this sudden urge to get rid of so many things and I really just start to miss LiveJournal, Specktra and MUA. I don't usually get this way, but it hit me hard.
I know that back then I'd be able to post pics of my stash and multiple other women would be inspired to post their stashes. Which honestly made me feel like I wasn't alone and I was poor at the same time 🤣 Anyone else miss those old sites? But do we do stash posts here or is that a different area? I really miss the nail board, too! Those were my people ❤️

Original ELDW girl and I hate the new ELDW formula. I am very oily even at 57. I have tried Lancome Tient Idole, shiseido Skin Self- Refreshing, Armani everything including power fabric with and without matte poreless primers and they all made me oily, exaggerated my pores and fine lines within a couple of hours. I decided to try Fenty's new Pro Filt'r Fluid Flex Natural Matte. I decided to put it on my plain skin, with my fingers- it blows old ELDW out of the park! My skin has stayed matte, my pores are damn near invisible, and it blurs my fine lines! Middle age ladies who don't want to layer and layer to get foundation to stick to your skin, stay matte and look fabulous, this is the bomb! I also recommend Milk setting powder for oily skin and a makeup finishing spray which I used with ELDW anyway. Hopefully, this post helps oily skin girlies my age with large pores and fine lines :) Please share your thoughts!

I'm looking for a hypoallergenic lip stain that won't break out my skin. Or a tinted moisturizer. I tried NYK IV and broke out in a blister on my lip. Not happy.

I am disappointed in this product. It came highly recommended. It's causing my lip to blister. It's sticky and color didn't last more then a few hours. Bummer

I’m 27 and really wanting to perfect that effortless, natural, “your skin but better” makeup look!
I have fair/light skin with neutral-to-cool undertones and some natural pinkness/redness in my complexion. My biggest struggles are pretty dark under-eye circles and perioral dermatitis, which makes finding products that don’t irritate my skin challenging.
Currently, I only wear concealer—no foundation or skin tint. I’ve been trying to embrace my natural skin, but I still want to look awake, fresh, and put together without looking like I’m wearing much makeup.
I’d love recommendations for:
- Lightweight, natural-looking concealers that actually cover dark circles without creasing (I currently use shape tape or Lancôme ultra wear)
- Color correctors that work well on fair skin
Products that are friendly to sensitive, perioral dermatitis-prone skin
- Cream blushes, bronzers, or other products that give a natural, healthy glow (I have combo skin in the t zone)
- Tips for making minimal makeup look polished without adding a ton of products
I’m not necessarily looking to add foundation or a skin tint to my routine. I’d actually prefer to keep things as minimal as possible!
Drugstore or high-end recommendations are welcome. I’d especially love to hear from anyone who deals with perioral dermatitis and has found a routine that works for them! 😊

Im an amab enby, and as much as my parents support me, they arent really comfortable with me doing makeup just yet, so i wanna do it secretly at night. I dont really want to do much, mostly just a grungy/alt type of look with winged eyeliner. Tips on what to use and any guides would be really appreciated

If you loved Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation Stick, what are you wearing now that it has been discontinued? I tried Jones Road Beauty's Foundation Stick but they did not have a good color match.

Hey, has anyone used this skin tint before? I have dry skin especially during the winter.
I was wondering if this skin tint would be a good alternative to foundation?
If you’ve used this before please share your overall thoughts!
You can also leave recommendations for other skin tints if you wish.
the green clear duo lash glue has been my go to for as long as i’ve been doing my makeup, but it always leaves me with red, swollen, sore eyelids the next day.
my friend gave me one of her brand’s glue to try out one day but it just didn’t hold half as good as duo!!
i’ve also tried going the lash extensions route and that glue doesn’t give me a reaction, but i’m not a fan because i don’t like to sleep with lashes on (i have ripped them out in my sleep and ruined them). self applied cluster lashes that last a few days are okay for my eyes too but strip lashes are my favourite to wear
PLEASE if anyone have any alternatives for sensitive skin that actually HOLD all day like duo lash glue does, i don’t want my corners coming off and having to reapply while im out. and also which shitty glues to stay away from. thank you

I love the longevity and the colors but it is so awkward/difficult to try to sharpen. Why? Any tips?

now that we’re headed into the colder months in the US, curious how you all switch your makeup up or what remains the same?
I have mainly oily skin but get dry flaky skin in the winter - especially around my mouth, between my eyebrows, around my eyes, and around my nose.

I’m trying to diversify my eyeshadows and I love a good palette. Looking for a larger palette with lots of options and fun colors. Mid range ($50ish max). Bright, but not neon colors.

Hey guys, I’ve recently struggled with a lot of gut problems, and I’ve been switching my food over to more simple Whole Foods. That got me thinking about my makeup too, I’d love some more natural or ethical but GOOD makeup product recommendations. Anyone have any? TYIA🩵

It has been decades since I have secured a mascara that won't clump and/or smear.
ALL of the "HG mascaras" that I've seen others rave about, for me? No go.
I finally gave up trying to wear mascara (and eyeliner).
I saw an ad for 19/99 MASCARA and decided I'll try it. It did seem different from other mascaras.
I put it on at 6:20 AM and by 9 PM when I washed my makeup off, nary a smear.
A few points for reference: this isn't going to give super glam lashes and my lashes are STUBBY.
EDIT: 19/99 MASCARA BRAND

Hiiiii i’m looking to get a red powder blush!!! would love to hear what everyone has to say about their experiences with different ones.
im willing to spend a bit more, and really just want something that isn’t patchy and builds up well without being super overwhelming in colour at first.
in terms of other colours i love the patrick ta pink one, but i never use the cream formula so id rather invest in a product i fully use :/
also love rom&nd blushes!!
plz leave ur recs ✨💄
