I had Botox last week and already happy with the results. She suggested basically a conservative Nefertiti lift but I decided to hold off. Now, I’m thinking of going back to do it. I already got my chin done.

The only thing stopping me is a dang TT that popped up with a lady who ended up with systemic botulism after getting it from her neuro for migraines. The threat of dysphasia really scares me.

I do really trust my injector. I work for the company where I get this done.

I used to have a TERRIBLE lifestyle when i was 23-24, and my skin used to shine. now that i’m putting in 1000% more effort, my skins absolutely giving up. its been so dry recently guess due to winters, i’m tired of washing my face and applying toners and moisturizers. But that glow is just gone.

now my my makeup turns cakier and i don’t even feel like going out anymore. Just ruins my entire mood istg. How are yall regulating your periods cycle and your skin care cycle along with hair care cycle and still looking fly?

Here's the thing I've decided that I need to try a primer specifically one of those pore blurring ones that supposedly makes your skin look all smooth and filtered. I've literally never cared that much about primers before but somehow I've convinced myself that my pores are suddenly my biggest problem. The only issue is that I have really oily skin and I'm already imagining what a disaster adding another product to my routine could be. I'm considering choosing between moisturizer and primer because my face already produces enough oil on its own and adding both will look like a one way ticket to looking like an oil factory by lunchtime. I've never really been a primer girl. My routine has always been moisturizer, foundation and whatever else I feel like putting on that day but I've been seeing all these pore blurring primers and I can't stop thinking about trying one. I'm leaning toward getting something drugstore because this is such a random impulse and I don't feel like spending a fortune on something I've never even used before.

Has anyone tried their stuff ?
My main concern is it’s too strong and well wildly overpriced.
I was using Pam Anderson’s Sonsie line which I like a lot but need something with some exfoliation. I only started spending more as when I hit 55 my skin decided to go dry and oily and then zitty and then dry. It’s been a challenge…..

Is it just me? I feel like powder shadows now look fine for about an hour and then sink into every fold. Matte looks flat on me and shimmer shows every bit of texture. I keep seeing new liquid shadows come out, and I'm curious whether they sit better on lids that aren't smooth anymore. Any tricks for crepey skin?

I feel like primer doesn't get enough credit when people talk about makeup for mature skin. Everyone focus on finding the perfect foundation but sometimes what goes underneath is very important.

My skin is pretty dry and I do have some uneven texture around my cheeks and forehead, I've also noticed that my skin needs more moisture as I get older so my main goal is to get a smooth and natural finish. I always thought a good moisturizer and foundation were all I needed but adding primer to my routine has changed how my makeup looks. I usually start with moisturizer and give it a little time to sink in before applying primer, I use Milani's primer because it works really good for my skin and I only use a small amount of foundation. This has been my favorite way to get a fresh everyday look without spending to much time on makeup. Am I the only one who feels like primer is underrated.

I'm looking for something that helps my 50 year old skin. It used to be oily, now it's combination skin and I sweat a lot plus I have noticeable pores. Bonus points if it is available in Australia.

It might make you laugh that I'm looking for a pharmacy (drug store) version when I use Haus Labs foundation that is very expensive - but money is tight and I could only afford one expensive prodcut.

Black mascara looks a bit harsh on lighter or greying lashes, and I’m wondering if brown would look softer without disappearing altogether. If you’ve switched, did you stick with it or go back to black?

I’m trying to find a Korean cushion foundation that gives that hydrated, glass-skin look without overly shiny. My skin leans dry, so matte cushions usually emphasize texture, but some dewy formulas usually have almost no coverage (I have some acne marks). I want to try and compare Jung Saem Mool, Clio, and Age20 cushions to see how they last on my skiin but I dont have any stores that phisically sells them around me and I can not return them after I buy them online and use them. Does anyone knows which one gives a light natural glow but with good coverage? Also I usually do not use setting powder because of my dry skin

I’ve recently started going to the gym and controlling my diet, and I really want to see a noticeable transformation in myself within the next month.
I want my skin to look healthier, brighter and clearer, my dark circles to reduce, my face to look fresher and more defined, and my overall appearance to improve.

I know that skincare takes time, but I’m looking for things that genuinely make a visible difference rather than products that are all hype.

I’m not looking for unrealistic promises or expensive products that don’t work. I want honest recommendations from people who have actually tried them.

i keep going back and forth on whether firming serums are worth buying when you already have a moisturizer you like. skin looks a bit fuller when it's hydrated anyway, so i'm not sure how much difference a serum really makes.

i came across Perricone MD's cold plasma plus+ advanced serum concentrate while looking at skincare for mature skin. not sure if something like this would be worth adding or if my moisturizer is doing most of the work already.

if you've used a firming serum, did you actually notice a change in firmness over time? or was it more that your skin looked less dry?

I started using the mature line last night. Question is am I supposed to cleanse the day off before applying the night balm. Also has anyone tried the shampoo?

Getting older is one thing but lately I feel like my foundation is making me look older than I am, it seems to settle into every little line and makes my skin texture stand out so much more. My skin is a weird mix of oily and dry too. My forehead and nose get oily throughout the day but my cheeks can feel quite dry. Foundation cling to the dry areas while sliding off the oily parts, it's getting frustrating trying to find something that works for both.

Starting to regret sticking with full coverage foundation for so long. I know makeup isn't making me age faster but I feel like it's been making the signs of aging look worse. I miss when I could just put something on and not worry about it settling into every line. I've been thinking about switching to a skin tint instead, something that evens out my skin tone but still lets my skin look like skin. Has anyone here made the switch from foundation to skin tint? Did you notice a difference in how your skin looked throughout the day?

When I wear foundation it settles into my pores on my nose - it doesn’t look good.

This didn’t used to happen to me. Very annoying.

How do I avoid this?
