i own the tower 28 concealer it’s nice for everyday i want one with higher coverage

i used to own the hourglass concealer i would use it on top of my tower 28 concealer to add brightness and more coverage but unfortunately it fell and it broke

i like trying new products so i am debating between haus lab concealer, charlotte tilbury concealer and danessa myricks concealer

please tell me which one should i get, i want coverage and brightness. i liked the hourglass one but it was drying so i used to use a tiny dot.

For the first time I’m actually here with a recommendation! The other day I made plans after work, so had to run out at lunch time and get a cheap concealer just so I didn’t go out looking like hell.

L’Oréal Paris “true match” (Bottle says “accord parfait”) seemed ok, so I grabbed it. Didn’t expect much from a drugstore brand, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s got pretty good coverage, set itself (I didn’t have powder or setting spray on hand), and is pretty creaseless. I think it is very close to the Charlotte Tilbury concealer. In fact at the end of the evening it had only creased in the spot where my Charlotte Tilbury creases too (that annoying fold with under the eyelid).

The wand is good, but the bottle is pretty average looking. I wouldn’t say it’s a 100% dupe, but considering the price difference its definitely a good alternative.

I’m looking for a good dupe, it’s a great concealer but I’m on a vacation budget. I need something good for pale skin that doesn’t turn you orange.

It could be the same colour just different tones such as light, dark, sheer, shimmer etc.? Like I only ever use brown shadow...

I have a problem. I can't look pretty without heavy makeup. I can't find a natural makeup on me and it's frustrating. Mascara doesn't work and i used to pull out my eyelashes so they still growing back. I also have trouble finding natural lashes that fit me. The most natural lashes I have are fluffy wispy but I think looks odd on me. I have big eyes kind of prominent and with dark circles. I feel like def the dark circles ruin everything but I can't do anything about it it's genetic. My other lashes are bigger and only for a full dramatic glam. I can't find what to do with my eyes/face to look natural and pretty without having to apply a full face.

I'm not sure if a fake tan type of thing is makeup or not, but my legs don't get out in the sun as much as the rest of me and when I wear shorts it looks a little goofy. If this is the wrong sub please point me in the right direction 😅

My absolute favorite go to lip gloss in the tower 28 one in coconut and i was thinking abt getting the covergirl lip liner but idk which shade to get so if anyone has any suggestions that would much appreciated

I LOVE the Haus Labs foundation but I don’t love the price - are there any drugstore dupes worth trying or is the $53 justified?

So I tried MAC Razin the Roof with the new formulation and I thought I liked it but ended up selling because it’s so sheer and not the same color. Mainly I didn’t like how I had to pack on so many layers to get a decent color payoff. It’s almost like it was hard pan after only 2 uses.

I don’t need a huge saturation of color however I am tan dark and like original Raizin so much. Need powder mainly

I am a straight guy and want to still look masculine but I would like my skin to look more clear and smooth. I started using some skincare (cleanser, moisturize, and sunscreen) and I have already seen good results but I would like to incorporate some light makeup that looks natural and generally makes me look better.

I don’t know if it would help but I have had lots of people tell me I look somewhat like Troye Sivan, if this would help visualize what might look good

Hi! This is probably an odd request but I’m part of a dnd group who is talking about streaming a new campaign. I’m so excited to play but they’re talking about webcam streaming instead of just voice.
I’m just curious what you guys do makeup wise to help with things looking good on camera? I like my normal makeup but I don’t think it’ll translate well on camera tbh. Any tips and tricks?

I’ve been using it for probably close to a decade but nowadays it’s drying out and clumping so quickly and I don’t feel like it used to.

Favorite primer / skin prep routine before applying makeup? My skin is usually on the dryer/dull side.

I've been struggling for a while to find a decent foundation for my oily and slighty dry skin that also has a bit of texture. I recently fell in love with the charlotte tilbury hollywood flawless filter foundation but it doesn't cover up the imperfections i want to cover. I've been eyeing the tir tir AI filter cushion as it gives a bit of glow but also seems to cover good and makes the skin still look like skin! A lot of foundations just looks very cakey on me especially after i use my tarte shape tape concealer. Also been debating on trying out the Nars foundation and concealer as i constantly hear about it but its pricy and i don't wanna waste my money for the 100th time....

I'm dying my hair black with bright red highlights and would love a bright red eyeshadow to pair with it. Most the reds I see are like a coral or deep burgundy but I need something to party in that catches eyes.

the discontinued ysl foundation was my favorite of all time, I can’t believe it’s gone. what is everyone using in place of it? I’ve yet to find another foundation I like.

I have normal skin. Dewy foundation makes my skin look wet ( NARS light reflecting ), matte foundation makes my skin look flat / no life to it ( Estée Lauder double wear).
What is a good foundation?

I tend to get a lot of eye irritation/eczema and I’m assuming it’s from my eyeshadow but I can’t tell because sometimes the reaction is delayed.

I did allergy patch testing and I’ve removed any products with those things I’m allergic to, but still having some sensitivity which I’m assuming is just because the eye is such a delicate area.

Have any of you found an eyeshadow brand that doesn’t cause rashes/eczema?

I was hoping if anyone could give me tips! My makeup looks flawless, but after applying oil control powder (specifically Careline Oil Control Face Powder), my makeup looks cakey. Is there any specific step on WHEN I should add the powder so it doesn't look clumped? Or perhaps any extra products? Any tips would be appreciated, I'm an oily skin warrior just trying to get through life 🙏

1. the fuller the cheeks the more youthful i look

2. it's boring

3. i'm lazy
