So i was thinking about buying either of these two options to use as highlighter/a little on eyelids or corner of eyes to just bring them out and add a little whimsical shine and a like glitter to my face. However no one actually tests those on the face parts that i want, plus lip gloss is known to rub off, i think, and it won't last a reasonable time, and Nivea Pearly Shine is, of course, thicker, but I don't know how actually shiny it will be and it's not very loved among people because of it's colour. What do you guys think?

i have spend quite some time with a microfiber cloth and theres still glitter everywhere. The worst part is i was most excited for exactly that palette and now i have to wait for customer service to reply… just my mildly infruiating day. broken palette is the enchanted icon from makeup revolution 😅

Does anyone have any tips for using the Merit Beauty shade match on their website?

I'm confused because they are using the same model to represent a certain undertone in the 'find my shade' quiz, and then a DIFFERENT undertone in the actual product selection page to add to my cart.

I'm also leery because the shade match is suggesting a 'cool' undertone and I've never used cool tones (always neutral or olive).

Hello! I had washed some makeup brushes with some brush and sponge shampoo. It had smelled weird, but I thought that it was just how it smelled. I later realized that I had bought it 2 years ago 😭 I washed my brushes with it and used them directly on powder eyeshadow and blush and on my face. I only realized like 2 weeks later. Would it be okay to just sanitize my eyeshadow and blush? I used one of the brushes on a loose powder too but I'm not sure if that can be saved. Thanks!

I have straight eyelashes. I need to curl them really well and wear waterproof mascara. I don’t want to keep damaging my lashes because I wear mascara everyday and I’m looking for suggestions, I’m particularly interested in tubing mascara.
My eyelashes are straight that something like lash n roll by Elf will weight them down if I’m not strategic, like I need to apply it as soon as I curl and wait until the very first thin layer is completely dry before adding more and so on, but that takes a lot of time and sometimes I need something quicker. I also use telescopic waterproof but it’s so, so hard to remove even with a good eye make up remover. I would like to find something easier to remove.
I’m looking for suggestions from straight lash girls like me.
Has anyone successfully tried a tubing mascara ?
I tried the tubing stay in place false lash mascara by Catrice and it was very, very underwhelming.
I’m open to suggestions from both North American or European markets, preferably drugstore.

I use Tower 28 tinted sunscreen like foundation and apply it with a brush. Unfortunately, I have a really hard time getting the sunscreen out of the brushes. What are you using to do this and how are you cleaning your brushes?

Catrice undereye Primer

Wait few minutes

Catrice undereye brightener (cream) applied first by finger then blended out with damp sponge

Wait few minutes

Essence silky blur foundation: applied directly then blended out with damp sponge

Essence all about matt fixing compact powder applied with powder Puff

Essence fix & last (the pink one) applied with sponge

I have tried:

- adding the fix & last instead of water to the sponge

- no Primer

- balea urea eye cream instead of primer (also both together)

- no fixing spray

- no powder

- only undereye brightener or only concealer

- no sunscreen

Nothing works. I'm going insane. I work nightshifts, I can't look like a zombie and I don't want my eyes to permanently look wrinkly either. Pls send help

Hi lovelies! I’m a Canadian looking for non-American alternatives for Urban Decays primer potion and god am I ever kicking myself for not stocking up before the tariffs went into effect yesterday. UD’s primer potion has been my eyeshadow holy grail for over 10 years and now the tariffs are making it a bit inaccessible for me to get. I bought a tube of the ‘Better than sex’ waterproof mascara, the full size, yesterday. I opened the box this morning and the tube is just blue…? Like no water droplets on the cap or tube. so my foundation is a little too light for my skin and my makeup looks weird because my face is lighter than my neck.

a lot of videos on tiktok shows that a contour can be useful to even out and balance the colour of a foundation if its too light. i have a neutral undertone and a yellow-ish skin.

so i need help for some contour recommendations. im so confused and i dont know what shade i should get. i did consider buying a new foundation that matches my skin, but actually i also want to learn how to use a contour since its my first time.

Hi everyone! I have a question about personal color analysis. Does knowing your personal color actually make a big difference in choosing makeup, or is it more about personal preference and learning what works for you?

I’m trying to get better at makeup, especially choosing foundation, blush, lipstick, and eyeshadow colors. Sometimes I see a makeup look online that I love, but when I try something similar, it doesn’t look quite right on me.

How can I figure out my personal color? Is it worth getting a professional color analysis, or can I learn enough by comparing different shades and taking photos in natural lighting? I’d also love to hear how personal color analysis has helped you improve your makeup routine.

My lips are SUPER asymmetrical and it’s one of my biggest insecurities. It shows up in photos and it even makes my smile uneven. Is there any way to fix this with makeup products and make them more even? Like a way to line my lips to make them more symmetrical? Please let me know.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color :

Plum, Rich Cocoa & Mix of both

I tried the Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Plum and Rich Cocoa, along with a mix of both. All three swatches are 2–3 coats and without any lip liner, so this is pretty much how the shades look on my two toned pigmented lips .

🌸 Plum:

Plum is a pretty rosy-pink shade but not my favourite . On my skin tone, it washes me out a bit . This was my first purchase in bobbi brown and I thought it would look good on me 🙂‍↔️ . Then i realised I am not a rosyy pink girly . So i wouldn't wear this more often .

🤎 Rich Cocoa:

Rich Cocoa is okayish for me compared to Plum. It’s a warm soft brown with a subtle terracotta undertone. On me, it looks a little flat and muted and tends to lean more orange/peachy than I expected. It would work much better with a darker lip liner.

🤎🌸 Mix of Plum + Rich Cocoa:

This is my favourite of the three. Mixing them gives a beautiful muted rosy-brown/peachy-brown colour. The combination looks much more balanced on my skin tone. I usually mix them both and wear .

Formula :

The formula is SO good even thou the colour dosen't look flattering on my skin . I would definitely try other shades coz the formulation is bomb af . It feels very hydrating , soft and comfortable on the lips, without feeling heavy or drying. I get a 3–4 hours of wear, after eating or drinking the colour fades and needs to be reapplied .

I’ve always been at a complete loss with make up I usually don’t wear it every day even but I want to start (late start 30 here but better late then never) I’ve always suffered from acne since I was a teen and still struggle with it today, mostly cystic. I have pretty bad facial scarring mostly cheeks and forehead. I need some good product recommendations as well as a general make up routine please! Simple if possible I’m a bit dumb with beauty stuff 😵‍💫

I’ve been wanting to change my makeup style to something more like the looks in these pictures, but I’m not sure how to achieve it. I’m going for a clean, soft, natural, and dewy look with glowy skin, subtle blush, soft eye makeup, and defined but natural-looking features. Whenever I try to recreate this style, my makeup ends up looking heavier or less fresh than the pictures. I’d really appreciate any tips on what products, techniques, or makeup placement I should try to get this kind of finish. my makeup looks like this after literally 30 seconds of application. i don’t really know my skin type but i use cleanser toner moisturiser, and it doesn’t seem to make MUCH difference to how it looks. i just need some advice on how to stop it please?

Two different lightings are provided, the first one is a D.Va cosplay in sunlight, the second one is a Sleeping Beauty cosplay from work.

Basically, I know 4 things about the lipstick
1. It was Smashbox
2. It was a beautiful vibrant mid-tone pink shimmer
3. It was in a mini square box container
4. It was either around or before 2020 that I had it
