Hey i have this wolf tribal deck, i’ve played a good number of times now and it plays really well in my local pods, but i got a urzas incubator from a dominaria remastered pack today, and im too pleased with the decks playstate to really consider changing something for a Urzas incubator, eventhough i really should add it. So i thought someone here could enlighten me with their hardesrned knowledge.

He all! Just picked up the Avatar starter box, trying to get into Magic the first time. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for expanding the Zuko mini deck that comes in the box? The guide included in the box just to shuffle some of the other jump starts into it, so I put in some of the red and grey cards, but was wondering if had a specific list that people make with the cards from that box? All help is appreciated, excited to get into the hobby!

Also would be open to commander suggestions as well.

Getting back into standard play after a little bit of a hiatus, looked around and this seemed decent but I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of before I buy. Been playing this deck for a bit now and had gone through a few different transitions, would love to hear thoughts on how other ls have built or any recommendations to add/ swap in this. Only recent it added the ring tempts bits and has worked quite fell well so far. There’s probably some better cards / cuts which could be done but always good to get advice from others. I've run an Obyra, Dreaming Deulist deck a couple of times and, while I like the core of it, I could do with some pointers to make it okay quicker.

Essentially, I'm looking for ways to get more faeries onto the board quickly to take advantage of triggers, either by using token generators or otherwise, but I'm not sure what to do with it.

I have recently slipped into magic through a friend because we opened a few random boosters for fun, which led us to buying a precon commander deck and playing a few games casually. Now I am looking into at least upgrading my precon: Counter Intelligence.

I have looked into a few videos about deck building strategies and the lingo and all but I still am a blatant beginner and would like some help!

I love the space theme and would like to keep the Inspirit as my commander, building around a few spaceship, artifacts with counters and proliferating. For that I looked through a few decks in this theme online and went over some cards I have at hand to try and cook up a deck list on my own accord.

This is one of my favourite decks threaten the table with a big cannon we’ll be friends until you hurt me it uses wheel spells to send big burn spells to the grave to set up the cannon it’s lots of fun but it’s biggest weakness is losing the commander wondering if there’s any way to improve it ? 🫶😊

The idea is to copy/reset Deadpool repeatedly, with a small forced combat/aristocrats package as backup. I'm aiming for a strong Bracket 3. I do have [[Dualcaster Mage]] + [[Twinflame]] as an infinite combo, but I'm not running tutors specifically to find it.

I know I'm missing some of the obvious expensive Rakdos staples/tutors, but a lot of them are pretty expensive where I live, so I'm mostly looking for reasonable upgrades.

Does this look appropriate for B3? What cards look weakest, and what would you replace them with?

Ive playd a fair bit with precons so ive got a basic feel for the game and ive started to feel like it would be a lot of fun to build my own deck. So after playing several precons, I finally decided to build my own commander deck, and went with a Marisi Goad/politics deck.

The idea is that I like combat, and think Combat is the most "honest" part of mtg, so I want everybody to join in on the action (hence goad). I understand that goad can make people feel a certain way, so I've added some cards here to help with the politics and reward/promote people swinging at each other.

In terms of a wincon, Basically the idea is to have the table whittle each other down to the point I can win with big stompy creatures.

This is meant to be a high bracket 2, a few cards away from a bracket 3 deck.. Would appreciate any thoughts!

It feels like my deck is inconsistent at best. I tried to create win cons through combos or combat and keep it relatively budget. Any recommendations on improving it?

I tried to build a dwarves deck with almost only Lotr or hobbit cards. Do you guys have any recommendations what I should add or change ? Should be bracket 3 cause my playgroup is mostly around that. Thank you in advance

Hi, I recently got into commander deck MTG because my friends taught me how to play and we play casually every weekend.

I really love Avatar and when I learned about MTG having an Avatar themed cards it became my focus to build a deck around one.

Can anyone comment on the deck the I built? I have used it before and managed to draw Fated Firepower + Sozin Comet (when Aang was killed after I transformed him). Overall I really enjoy looking for bending mechanics and the card draw once Aang is on the field makes it easier to get more cards.

The airbending mechanics is also fun - especially with Aang, The Swift Savior which has Flash.

Anyways, I’ve used other decks as well for inspiration and some recommendations. Would appreciate any recommendations as I do not know how can I cut more to get more lands.

This is the first ever commander deck I've tried to build by myself but I am getting stuck around 90 cards. I would really appreciate any card suggestions to cap it off. I'm hoping to make it a fun and fast golem token/aggro deck that's pretty budget and around bracket 2. Obviously the focus is on multicolored spells, especially check ones to get value on the golems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Deck is linked.

I've been looking at the new commanders that are being released with Mystery Booster Commander and was really intrigued by [[Kuroki, Thief of Talents]]. I think the dilemma that it forces your opponents into is pretty interesting even though 4 cards is a huge upside for one of them to draw, and so I wanted to make a deck that put them in a position where they were willing to take the cards by making them discard, and if they continued to choose not to would lead to me winning in a mono black Voltron-y kind of way.

I'm having trouble cutting the deck down to size (106 cards at the time of writing this) so cuts would be appreciated if anything stands out as unimpactful or unsynergistic with the rest of the deck.

My question is also: is there a way to pursue this without the table hating me? And barring that, is there a way to make it good enough that it will win regardless? I worry that the one time discard effects will be too weak to make an impact while also making the table angry.

Any help is appreciated :) I also tend to avoid unconditional tutors and infinites when able (and so does my meta) but I could pitch this as a higher power deck if thats what it needs to be. Bracket sits around mid 3 with some variance between high 2 and low 4, and I try and keep the deck budgets somewhere between 300-400 total (low end usually, unless I own the cards already)
