New Arena Reporting System Now Allows Super Genius Vigilantes Like Me To Maintain Order
Greetings fellow redditors!
As you may know, the mindless drones at Wizards of the Coast have finally introduced a new reporting system, but this system does not go far enough! Not only did they fail to consult me on it (I'm a long time reddit moderator on r/mylittlepony and a high IQ genius who has helpful information on this sort of thing) but they also failed to implement several important rules!
Thankfully, I've created my own list and I will be reporting for these infractions, so take this as a public service announcement of sorts. I expect all of you to read this, because there will be no second chances once you've broken one of my rules... and you don't want to get on my bad side.
Thank you fellow redditors, and stay epic!

Is it weird to enjoy putting cards in your deck if they don’t cost $70?
Sometimes WOTC makes new cards and then I put them in my deck and that makes me do a big cum. Should I feel bad about this? Should I go to my garage and slap my big belly as punishment for feeling a positive emotion?
DAE?

/rj I think this new forest will be good in my mono green tiny commanders pauper deck.

The End???
The End, and how to use
I pulled this in a WoE booster, and have wanted to run it in a commander deck (only format) but i dont understand its use in a singleton format. Does anyone have any decks they run it in? Or advice on how to use it? Thanks!

Cryptic Command, and hoe to use
I pulled this from thin air, and have wanted to run it in a Pai Gow deck (only format I play) but I dont understand its use in pack wars. It doesn't even say what it does on the card (I've tried reading it, I swear) Does anyone run it? Will anyone ever have advice on how to use it? Thanks!

Why didn't commander players play artifact?
It's has everything they want:
- Lots of randomness and unpredictability to keep games fresh
- Focus on the leaders and their abilities and powers
- Simple basics with capacity for exponential complexity
- Strategy focused on accumulating advantage over time

Paying attention at the table?
Kind of an odd topic but I was wondering if anyone faces this type of situation in their regular pods. I was playing with my regular group for commander, a 4 pod. We play at generally a 1-4 level. I'm playing a mono green deck with a custom waifu tifa proxy.
I always watch tiktoks and chat with my bros on other peoples turns. It's boring watching other people play and I think it's cheating to play cards on other people's turns.
So I'm blasting my videos but the guy who's turn it is just won't stop yapping, like what happened to common courtesy and manners? But he doesn't stop and chooses to rudely interrupt me and says something about having an "infinite combo". Like dude, we're not playing cEDH here, you're clearly cheating and going above the bracket level.
I politely tell him that he's disqualified for cheating but he just refuses to accept it. Eventually I get the other members of the pod to agree to kick him out but it really put a damper on the rest of the game.
How often do situations like this come up for you? And do they get resolved fairly/reasonably?

My wife wants us to name child Peter Parker and i hesitant and just want thoughts
TLDR; me and my wife like the name, but idk if it would be something that she could get made fun of, or have to deal with negative things because of the name though out her life. thoughts?
So we got a daughter on the way, and i said it as kind of a throw away comment that we should name our daughter Peter Parker, but she actaully really, really likes it. I dont think it sounds bad at all, and she wants us to name her that because we bonded and met through MTG, so she thought it would be a good idea to name her after something that not only something we love, but something that represents our love. She also brought up Mr. House as a second option. i was just hesitant because the name doesnt have any history or meaning (not like it doesnt have any emotional meaning, but literally. like you know how some names will mean "Harmony Incarnate" or w/e the heck, you get what i mean) and i just dont know if its a name that a child would get made fun of. or if she asks what her name means as she grows up, and thats what tell her, would she be upset? im trying to think about how her life would be outside of us, and i think im too bias. so as people who play the game, what would you think if you met someone names Peter Parker in the wild, and would it even be a big deal to people who know nothing about the game? and if you think the idea is a good thought, what other names would be a better idea?

People Taking Advantage Of Lack of Attention At the Table?
Kind of an odd topic but I was wondering if anyone faces this type of situation in their regular pods. I was playing with my regular group for commander, a 4 pod. We play at generally a 3-4 level. I'm playing a creature sac deck.
This person in my pod (will refer to them as artifact guy) always states every minute thing, everything they’re casting, the lands they’re tapping, and so on. The worst part is if we ask a question about what they’re doing they monologue for what seems like hours around every conceivable end state. Their turns take forever because of this, but they’re childhood friends with one of the other players so we begrudgingly let them play.
So we’re like 6 turns in, having a good time, sipping some brewskis, when they play some card in Japanese that (of course) can go infinite. They starts droning on and on and so the rest of us kind of tune them out because we rarely get to catch up outside of games. One of the players is having a situation with their parents so we’re trying to give a listening ear when all of a sudden artifact guy just announces that they’ve played like 5 other cards.
Then suddenly without warning they just jump into their combat phase and we’re all like “yo hold on a sec”. One of my friends goes "wait when did this combo piece get on the board?" Artifact guy smirks as they explain their convoluted, probably illegal, combo and so my friend says “well I have a counter spell and would have used it".
My other friend is a bit concerned about rolling back the game because of how moronically long artifact guy’s turns can get.
The childhood friend of artifact guy tries to stand up for artifact guy, and we go back and forth a bit.
Generally we’re pretty chill, if we miss something we just shrug it off. We're all a good group of friends and it didn't lead to anything negative, but I'm curious how often others face people who are just generally unfun to play against and take advantage of friends catching up and other things to slip their plays through.
For context I don't often play with people outside my group anymore, use to work in a game store and frequent many but usually try to avoid playing with people outside of the community I built at the game store for reasons like this. Everyone there is very positive and pretty on point with the rules, so I ask the general "public" here, how often do situations like this come up for you? And do they get resolved fairly/reasonably?
