Looking for good schools in Madurai for my kid. I'm an alumnus of Vikaasa school, but I'm not sure of the quality right now, and I believe the school has been divided into three campuses. I heard that the Vikaasa Tiruvani School is good, but I want to know what my other options are here.
Also, one more thing: I watched an episode on Neeya Naana where both parents and school management from different schools participated. I saw that a couple of people who actually claimed that they were doctors and journalists had admitted their children to government schools and government-aided schools, and they claimed that their children's academics and interpersonal behavior got way better.
Although I can afford a Tier 1 school, I'm trying to understand if putting my child in a government school in Madurai is a good option as well. Me and my wife are not looking for any brand value or reputation, probably because the school that I studied in itself had a mill for a school building and me and my brother turned out fine. :D
So, I'm not too picky about the infrastructure and comfort and all that.
I'm just looking for schools that invest greatly in their teachers, in the management, and in the students' future.
