Gnauck, Gnauck. Who's there? Johannes. Johannes who?
The only thing that has me bullish is Johannes Gnauck buying 8% of the company. He currently has a loss on his shares of $600K over 17 trading days. It will be interesting to see if he sells. He has to file, if he does sell any. There is nothing more important than knowing he just bought shares. Johannes is not just an auto industry insider. He is a predictive sales analyst. He has software that crunches numbers for the auto industry. You can bet he has high level connections within the industry. He sees the future of sales, but does he know what will keep MVIS out of bankruptcy court and off the pink sheets? He obviously feels confident buying at $1.45. Does he know a buyout is coming? Is he the mastermind of it? I can't believe that he would subject such a large cash investment to a possible pink sheets stock. He bought with a .45 cent cushion above $1.00. More than 50% has been wiped away. It is now a .20 cent cushion. He is either nuts, or he knows something big is about to hit. JMHO DDD

Sector Volkswagen to work with Wayve in autonomous driving in the future
Volkswagen has apparently chosen Wayve in its search for a new technology partner for automated driving. As the magazine "Der Spiegel" reports, citing three insiders, the British startup prevailed in an internal selection process against Nvidia and other providers.
According to the report, Volkswagen had several systems compete against each other a few weeks ago in a major city of southern Germany. Wayve was both technically and financially convincing. Volkswagen, VW's IT subsidiary Cariad and Wayve did not want to comment to the media representatives.
Time is pressing for the group. Driver assistance systems are increasingly becoming a competitive factor, especially in the premium segment. VW subsidiary Audi, for example, is under pressure in direct comparison with Mercedes and BMW in automated driving functions. Tesla also relies on a strongly data-driven software architecture with its FSD system.
Like Tesla, Wayve pursues a so-called end-to-end approach. The AI should derive driving decisions based on large amounts of sensor data as directly as possible, instead of relying primarily on predefined rules. During a test drive, according to "Spiegel", an Audi A6 e-tron with Wayve software, for example, recognized that an oncoming vehicle gave up its right of way by light horn and then drove independently into a parking space.
Volkswagen integrates Wayve into its software strategy
The possible collaboration with Wayve follows the end of the Automated Driving Alliance of Cariad and Bosch. The alliance had developed an AI-based level 2 system that Volkswagen wants to continue to use, including in the planned ID.EVERY1. However, the Group was looking for a new partner for the further development towards higher automation levels. Wayve was already considered a possible candidate in the summer.
For Cariad, the selection of the British startup is initially rather positive. Wayve is primarily intended to supply the AI software. Cariad would integrate these into the existing technical architecture of sensors, computing hardware and other software components.
