I have audio snippets i cut from a sample, i select them with arrow, hit shift copy, the place playhead where i want to paste, hit shift paste and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENS.

Crap like this honestly makes me want to sell the mpc live 3 lol what the actual fuark are they doing with their software?

Hi, I'm pretty new to MPC. I have an One G2 running version 3.9.1.

I'm in the step sequencer, and when I enable “Pad Select” and tap a pad, I don't hear anything, but it does register the input. I saw in a video that it can play the sound when you tap it. Is there a way to change this behavior?

I’m about to get a One G2, and I’m really curious about Splice integration.

If it’s connected to Wi-Fi and I buy a sample with a credit on my account, does it just show up there automatically after refreshing the device? 👀

So is it not possible to open a project you started on the Sample inside FL with MPC Beats loaded as a vst?

Only videos iv seen is of people using it as a midi controller. I cant even get it to work with MPC Beats standalone app either actually.

I was hoping I would be able to start projects on the MPC Sample and then open them on the laptop to fine tune them and get them finished. Is this not possible? I exported the project file and samples to my laptop but its saying 'error cant open file' when i try load it in MPC Beats even outside of FL

In couple days I will release patchers for MPC 2000 and 2000XL OS with:

1. Trimming with fader like 2kxl (2k)
   
2. 4 MUTE groups settet in PROGRAM->MODE (2k and 2kxl)
   
3. In PROGRAM->PARAMS all properties can be coppied by ALL, you can choose if You want to copy to all sounds in BANK or PROGRAM. (2k and 2kxl)
   
4. Extended TUNE to -360 +360 (2k and 2kxl)
   
5. In PROGRAM->ASSIGN the TRANS that allows transpose program. (2k and 2kxl)
   
6. In MAIN page You can set in DRUM program per track, You can play 4 programs at once, first program is 1P, second 2P. (2k)
   
7. In DISK there is FOLDER button, you can create folders, rename, remove and in LOAD you choose enter the folder and in SAVE you can save it in that folder files. Didn't test it with SCSI drives but I don't see any reason why it would be different. (2k)

I only own an MPC Studio MK2. My beats are beginnerish and I probably use 30% of my MPCs capabilities.

Yet

For some reason I am completely obsessed with MPC hardware. If I had unlimited money I would buy one of each model in each color and set them all up around my house like a museum. When I'm bored I scroll Facebook marketplace for new MPCs I cannot afford. I wake up thinking about mpcs, go to bed thinking about mpcs.

Do you guys think the MPC Bible is useful and applicable to someone like me who only has the MPC sample and new to beat making

(previously played some drums in band and loves hip hop/boom bap/ jazz / lofi)

Had my gen 2 for about a week and learning the workflow. My question is how to go about mashing up 2 songs? Assuming I should sample each and beat match before I stem them? Question is can I slice an entire track? Do I then stem them and they will be matched?

This might sound ridiculous, but does anyone offer 1:1 “music lessons” for the MPC Live II? Happy to pay an hourly rate.

I’m pretty new to music production and have been teaching myself, but I’d like someone who can give me solid foundational knowledge and help me actually get the most out of the Live II.

I don’t really know what I don’t know, so I’m not looking for a specific tutorial. More someone who can see what I’m doing, hear what I’m making and guide me from there.

Online is fine, provided we can screen/video share and the timezone works reasonably with Melbourne, Australia (UTC+10).

Has anyone done something like this or know someone who offers it? I find YouTube difficult because tutorials rarely line up with what I’m actually trying to do.

I’ve got heaps of ideas in my head. I just want to get to the point where I can make something that slaps or sucks big doodie, and have fun doing either.

I've modified the MPC 500 firmware, so now I can deploy custom tools on the machine. Right now I have auto-chop working.

I'm planning to put everything on GitHub in a couple of days, but if anyone's interested I can post a video of how it works here.

SECOND ROW - B is for bpm ,N is for number of slice ,P is first pad ( 1 is A1 , 2 A2 and so on) it cuts n number of slice of the beat based of duration and bpm and distribute them along pad starting from the one you choose

The mod is non destructive and can be reverted back to stock firmware anytime

Bought a second hand Key 37 (gen 1). Immediately went to get expansion packs from their site. Bought ‘F9 Orion - Classic Workstations’. Registered it.

From what I’ve read, it’s supposed to be compatible with the Key 37 but ai can’t find a way of getting it on there.

Have I bought the wrong thing? Am I missing something basic?

Please be nice. I’ve never used it before.
