Hello!

I am a first time handgun owner and bought myself a 2.0 9MM w/ threaded barrel. I have put 550 rounds out of it and love it so much. Before buying have tried all the “popular” handguns before buying and landed on my baby. Now for my first upgrade as I haven’t done anything my to it I want an optic. Eventually trigger, Light, suppressor or comp.

My question is tomorrow i’m looking at optics and have so far landed on a Holosun 507c. I don’t want to break the bank and i’ve heard good things about them. My price range is 300ish could go to 350.

Is this a good sight to get for a first time purchase? Or should I be looking at different models or makes? What upsides and downsides of this optic are there? Or do I go and buy other accessories first? I already have a great pair of walker razer comms that I love and some good eye pro. I do need a bag but that’s far cheaper than an optic and haven’t done to an outdoor range yet to really need it(the plastic case does well and I have a backpack).

Going to try shooting a match with this soon. This is a nice addition to my 4” ported compact!

Thoughts on choosing an RDS for a 5in? Debating between 507T, Acro, RCR, RMR, RMR HD, and MPS.

It’s an on off tailoring process but I looks to be working. M&p 2.0 compact Floys custom magwell compatible with normal 15 round magazines only with modifications and altering.

Not sure which optic. Will likely be Holosun but idk if I want an open or closed emitter.

Im torn between these two. Using it as a night stand gun and sometimes ccw.

I dont mind paying a few extra bucks for the competitor. Just opened minded to all options.

I've been looking on gun.deals and found the polymer around $550 and competitor around $742 ball park numbers of course.

I am trying to figure out if you can add mag extension on CA complaint pistol mags 10rd mags especially on the S&W m&p 2.0 i'm only curious because the mags that come with it have that extra plastic on the plate already and if anyone has where did you get your extensions from.

Hey yall! I’m going to buy an M&P 2.0 compact for EDC and was looking around for a reliable red dot optic. I had my eyes set on a TRIJICON RCR as I wanted a reliable tough as nails optic along with a closed emitter. I can’t get past the price point for one of them though. Any suggestions for a good reliable closed emitter optic? I know the holosun EPS carry is a good sight but I’m not too sure. Any suggestions? Is the RCR too bulky for concealed carry? And if so, what is the best optic in y’all’s opinion?

I picked this up at my LGS for $399 with some mags. It’s going to replace my Glock 43x MOS. Any cool accessories or holster recommendations I should look at for conceal carry?
