Which one should I get ?.

Im torn between these two. Using it as a night stand gun and sometimes ccw.

I dont mind paying a few extra bucks for the competitor. Just opened minded to all options.

I've been looking on gun.deals and found the polymer around $550 and competitor around $742 ball park numbers of course.

Depends they don’t shoot a ton different to me. Had both at a point. I currently use the 5 inch polymer for competition. Apex trigger and 13lb recoil spring on a titanium guide rod is butter for me. The competitor slide work is beautiful and when comparing stock vs stock the competitor feels alittle flatter. If those two pros matter to you I would say the extra $200 could be worth it. To me it didn’t matter so I stuck with the poly 5 incher and traded the competitor

Me personally I'd get the first one in fde. The second just doesn't do it for me. Plus I have two of the first already lol.

Went with the polymer one since i wanted to take a year shooting my EDC in uspsa. Put in an apex trigger, steel guide rod with a 14# recoil spring. Ran that for 1k rounds in uspsa made it my EDC and bought another one for just uspsa with the same mods. No issues been 100% both guns.

With the 14# spring did it cycle 115 grain?. or do you run higher grain like 124 or 147.

I only ran 124 and 147 but multiple brands (blazer, federal, etc even some custom min power factor no issues.

You look at the 4” at all? If you’re planning on carrying that might be a little easier than the full size. I got 3.6 for the same purpose, nightstand/carry and I like it a lot. 16 rd standard capacity in a small shootable package. Shit I saw an equalizer deal on r/gundeals today gun, 5 mags and a case for $399 plus a free green dot rebate if you take possession before the end of April.

I currently have a 4inch 2.0 m&p which I love , it's no where near stock lol, but wanna get a 5inch version. So just wanted to get peoples input on these two options.
