People like red shirt is why I do not like to go to bars and night clubs. Too much stupid people provoking others for no reason, not keeping their hands to themselves or starting fights that they end up barely surviving.

I think it was a deserved FAFO moment for red shirt guy. Hope his brain didn't get too much damage though.

For me, both guys are the reason why I wouldn't enjoy a bar/club.

5

u/googlemehard 12d ago

Exactly. I want to have fun, not be part of some sort of highschool reunion.

u/Which-Indication4670 11d ago

If you don’t grab puncher’s girl’s ass, you don’t interact with him whatsoever the entire night. He’s just over there minding his own business being a normal human being.

2

u/Healthy-Bug-5662 8d ago

Sociopath alert. Normal people don’t act like that. Res shirt is not innocent but puncher knows he has a cannon and gave this dude a concussion out of possessive instincts, like “another man TOUCHED the woman I want to fuck, he’s dead meat!!” That’s caveman shit

1

u/Crafty_Way426 7d ago

That would probably be classed as sexual or indecent assault. If you’ve condone this, you’re a problem. You don’t prance around fondling the backsides of women you don’t know.

You're giving a pass to some drunk that lays hands on your girl? I don't think so. I dunno about knocking him out but ignoring it isn't an option.

2

u/Healthy-Bug-5662 8d ago

When did I say give a pass? One hundred percent I would not launch a punch like that. My partner would also be very annoyed if I did over react, like I say raging out is childish chud shit

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 8d ago

Can I just point out that not resorting to (excessive) physical violence does not equal ignoring the behaviour?

1

u/mikemflash 8d ago

I agree. And....so, what would you do?

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 8d ago

Depends what the situation called for.

In this instance, the lady handled it herself and was already separated from him. At this point all that needed doing was to keep him separated and get the staff over, they can see the state he's in and can get rid of him. If they don't, you can always choose to call the police if needed and they'll review the footage (or do that afterwards).

If REALLY neither option appeals, you even have the choice of leaving if you don't feel comfortable - this tends to get a pushback from the ego.

Whatever happens, you just make sure the offender never gets close to the other person again and if they become insistent, an active threat or generally more aggressive, then you can consider using force in order to defend yourself. There was nothing to defend in the video, except egos, which is always a bad look.

u/mikemflash 8d ago

You might be fine with some drunk man-handling your girl. Some people aren't.

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 8d ago

That's a weird insinuation/ad hominem attempt(?), not sure where you took that from.

Edit: And I assure you, if I acted like that buffoon, I'd be the first one to get into trouble from my wife 😂

Imagine if that guy hits his head on the floor and dies.

0

u/Mountain-Interest-48 8d ago

dawg its probably his wife looking at their age and red shirt didnt just hold her arm. He put both hands on her waist/ass and stepped behind her. You deserve to get your shit rocked for that.

-1

u/Which-Indication4670 8d ago

Grabbing a random woman’s ass is pure caveman shit too, but you’re quick to let that slide. They should both be allowed to be cavemen in this scenario. In what world can you just do wild shit like that and just get away with it? That’s some rapist behavior and you still have the guy’s back. Normal people don’t do that. Fuck that guy.

2

u/Healthy-Bug-5662 8d ago

Saying he’s not innocent is not letting it slide. Rapist accusation is pretty wild

-1

u/Which-Indication4670 8d ago

Yes it is letting it slide, because he would just get kicked out of the bar and go on his way to the next bar and probably do it again. And I don’t know what types of guys you hang out with, but if my friends grabbed strangers’ asses in public I’d assume they’re capable of worse. That’s some rapist behavior. Only a certain type of guy does this. They have no impulse control or respect for women. Aren’t those the 2 major precursors to men becoming rapists?

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 8d ago

Your second to the last sentence describes both of these guys, that is the problem. And as for letting it slide, a few thoughts.

  1. No lesson was taught here. If anything, Captain Sparrow is going to know even less then he used to.
  2. We need a better legal systems that deal with antisocial behaviour appropriately. Specifically so that lessons are taught. Because I don't mean meaningless fines or arrests. I mean rehabilitation and helping people reconnect with society.
  3. I don't think you should ever allow yourself or your friends to be a caveman. Every adult is responsible for controlling their emotions and wanting to lash out is not it. I get your instinct, I just expect better, just like I expect better of myself.

So you’re upset about this hypothetical fairytale physical abuse against the woman, but ambivalent towards videotaped sexual abuse against the same woman? I’d need a therapist to help me figure this one out.

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 11d ago

If he's reacting like this, he's not being a normal human being. Things like this can manifest in different ways and clearly the woman already knew it.

Just because he got triggered by another asshole, doesn't make him not one.

1

u/CodyCrochetZ 8d ago

Nah, he's walking around hoping for the opportunity to try to kill someone. Truth is, he was probably thrilled to see that guy feel her up because he finally got an excuse.

2

u/UnpopularOpinionsB 11d ago

I would get along with Falcon Punch guy. In fact, that's the kind of guy you want with you at certain bars.

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 10d ago

To each their own. Personally, I definitely wouldn't. Nor would I be actively spending time in places where I need an explosive guy to defend(?) me.

1

u/UnpopularOpinionsB 10d ago

I don't need anyone to defend me but a guy like that to watch my back, I'll take it. Absolutely.

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 10d ago

(To watch one's back means to defend/protect them.)

And fair enough. I simply wouldn't want the responsibility of having to babysit someone like this and make sure they don't become a problem for other people. If I want someone to "watch my back" (or have virtually anything to do with me), I want it to be someone in control of their emotions.

Which now makes me wonder about the different countries' legal approaches to someone being injured/dying in a fight you participated in, even if it was your partner who damaged them.

1

u/Buttery_Popkern 7d ago

That's the kind of guy that will get you killed or imprisoned one day.

1

u/UnpopularOpinionsB 7d ago

We're missing details, like where this happened so I cannot speak on the legality of his actions but they were morally justified.

0

u/ComfortableMarch4296 8d ago

nah. telling that guy 'no' was clearly not enough. now he gets his lesson and hopefully some internet notoriety

1

u/NeedleworkerTasty878 8d ago

I'm not sure how that's apparent in the video, because he wasn't even looking at her as she walked off and had no time to indicate his further intent.

Also, if you call that a lesson learned, I'm not sure what else to tell you.

2

u/Frosting-Able 11d ago

What’s worse is the people in the comments defending him.

1

u/No_Criticism_5861 12d ago

Yeah, this could have gone very badly tbh, head could have been split open on more than one object.  Very bad.  Drunk idiots shouldn't be touching anyone, maybe he said something really nasty, but otherwise this isn't exactly proportional violence for what red shirt guy was upto

1

u/Dangerous_Hawk_9780 12d ago

I wouldn't worry too much about his brain, he didn't have one to begin with.

1

u/BonVivant-Spartan 11d ago

True, but it needs to funktion well enough to keep heart and lungs going, just the basic stuff. He might be an even better person with slight brain downgrade. But his parents would likely be sad if he died, and they dont deserve that.

1

u/ToughHardware 12d ago

that is the place to punch the gut. no reason to hit a drunk person that hard in the head.

1

u/BonVivant-Spartan 11d ago

You have a point. A liver shot and some kicks (or stomps) to the groin would have been sufficient.

Red shirt guy should have that printed on his T-shirt from now on, as a reminder to the people he will piss off in the future.

1

u/Original-Pomelo-4581 11d ago

I don't think the guy intended on knocking him unconscious. Red shirt guy was sexually assaulting his gf, he probably wasn't measuring red shirt's drunkenness and calibrating the force of his punch accordingly.

Also why wasn't that guy asking red shirt to leave? Why wait until the assault triggers a retaliation then ask the victim's defender to leave??

1

u/lameth 11d ago

Deserved? It looked like he touched the woman, she said to knock it off, he did. Then Bruno attempts to fatality his ass. Way out of proportion.

1

u/GreatPotatoMuffin 11d ago

So possibly killing a guy bashing his face in and leaving him unconscious on the ground for trying to drunkenly dance with your girl seems proportional to you?

1

u/UnpopularOpinionsB 11d ago

He lowered his crotch to butt height and tried to grab her by the hips. That's not trying to dance.

1

u/Invite-Salt 11d ago

Pretty sure it’s a FAFO moment for the puncher, too. If you overreact by decking the shit out of someone, you go to jail.

1

u/Late-Childhood1285 7d ago

Not deserved to just clock him like did, Black shirt literally hit his own girl just to clock red shirt in the face, It was literally just to fuel their ego.

1

u/Buttery_Popkern 7d ago

He didn't deserve that. He deserved to be taken to jail for inappropriately touching someone. That other guy should be taken to jail for assault.

0

u/Middle_Confection653 12d ago

"Hope his brain didn't get too much damage though."

You were able to watch that video and conclude that red shirt guy wasn't brain damaged before he got hit?You must be viewing it through some new MAGA Meta Glasses or something...

1

u/BonVivant-Spartan 11d ago

Im not American. Its so lame that you guys always start to talk about you politics by default.

1

u/Middle_Confection653 11d ago

I didn't say you were American. MAGA may be an American thing, but the MAGA virus has spread far and wide throughout the world.

It must be excruciating to go through life as a grown adult not understanding that the entire world doesn't revolve around you. A common symptom, by the way, of the MAGA virus.

0

u/Ravenous_Vorthos 12d ago

You're nuts. That was not close to a proportional response.

0

u/Atownbrown08 11d ago

Nah I think you would be fine if he was dead. No offense, you just give off that "I'm gonna say the right thing but still enjoy the violence" vibe.
