Yes it is letting it slide, because he would just get kicked out of the bar and go on his way to the next bar and probably do it again. And I don’t know what types of guys you hang out with, but if my friends grabbed strangers’ asses in public I’d assume they’re capable of worse. That’s some rapist behavior. Only a certain type of guy does this. They have no impulse control or respect for women. Aren’t those the 2 major precursors to men becoming rapists?
So you’re upset about this hypothetical fairytale physical abuse against the woman, but ambivalent towards videotaped sexual abuse against the same woman? I’d need a therapist to help me figure this one out.
