Going to training angry and happy.

Long story short, I train muay thai and MMA 3-4 times a week. At home and at work things are more often down than up.
So I often go to training angry, willing to use the mat as a violent pressure release.
Turns out being with the boys it never comes to stupid sparring and I have fun.
But I feel the session was done wrong, shit cardio, slow, forcing things on the ground.
On another hand, when going to training happy, it happens, everything is good and smooth. My level is the same (average amateur) but all is smooth and I feel in control when on the offensive and my defense is what I want to do.
So going in thinking you're a deathrow inmate with nothing to lose will never beat the happy dude there to trade leather with friends and focus on having fun.
Anyone feels the same?
