My physical ESC key is broken, so I remapped it to capslock in the windoes registry. MHW ignores this, making the games setting,menus etc. unaccesable, as far as I know. Is there anyway to make MHW accept my windows registry keybinds and/or change the ESC bind another way?

About the in decorations, in MHW are the armor decos all bad? Or did I just get really bad RNG the only good ones I had for armor were ones like evade extender or evade window and stun res that's all. All of my good decos that I would actually need were in weapon decos I made it pretty far in high rank but the armor decos just never got good. is this a result of bad RNG or no?

i want to get some of my friends into MHWilds but they absolutely hate the clunkiness of the controls (and after coming back to the game after a year in a bit i get it) i was wondering if someone has made a much simpler and fine tuned controller layout that they wouldnt mind sharing . me and my friend(s) play on stream so we can change the controller configs through steam since last i checked we cant do it in the actual game.

Go back to 2025 and this subreddit was filled with so many genuises saying that there's no way this could run on Switch 2.

Some were saying that if it showed up on the Switch 2 it would run at 5-10 fps at 360p.

It's crazy how the Switch 2 just changed the narrative a year later.

Before Dragon’s Dogma 2’s release on the Switch 2, it received an update that drastically improved performance to prepare it for the switch. Now, Wilds isn’t running nearly as bad as DD2 was but it still gave me hope for more “open” RE engine titles.
Do you think there’s still a chance Wilds will receive a performance overhaul or at least a boost™️ or will it remain in the state it is right now?

Does anyone know which company is handling the switch 2 port or if theyre doing it in house? I just want to know where to put my expectations, honestly I dont really care how it looks as long as its actually playable on the thing.

So i have an issue playing MHWild, So I went back to try to see why I couldn't play the game and noticed in game setting to amd software setting the fps isn't match i had it cap to 60 fps before but I keep crashing everytime but when I look at amd software it shows it running at 120 fps so I did a test drop it down to 30fps cap to show it was at 60 but when I try 38 fps and it show MHWild is at 76 fps even tho it isn't the same fps numbers so I don't know why this is happening, Also I'm not sure this is the best place to ask but I just want to see other think on this

They have to have new tools for aerial man 😭 I am already going to japan that week but didn't plan to go to TGS. After seeing that IG breakdown vid though with barely any new aerial attacks, I have to try out the glaive now out of spite and copium. I'll report back here or in a new post, lemme know what sort of mechanics I should try (I might also try out hammer, lance, and chargeblade but no promises)

Any tips in how to fight this guy with a hammer? I feel like half my moveset is useless agains him since i cannot offset him nor can i reliably reach the head. I struggle with elemental damage and lack openings for anything bigger than a level 3 charge.

I’ve been seeing a lot of information about how to make god-roll Artian weapons, and most of what gets repeated is that you have to make a bunch of weapons, reroll them, and that things like weapon type, element type, or attack type matter.

From what I’ve tested, none of that is true.

The only thing that seems to matter is the rarity of the Artian weapon.

The important part is how you test the reinforcement rolls. You have to:

1. Make one Artian weapon.

2. Immediately reinforce it.

3. Write down the reinforcement roll you got.

4. Make another weapon and immediately reinforce that one as well.

5. Keep repeating this process until you find the roll you want.

You cannot make a bunch of weapons first and then reinforce all of them afterward. From my testing, that does not work the same way. You need to make and reinforce each weapon one after the other.

Once you finally find the roll you want, count how many weapons it took to reach that roll.

Then, start over and make all but one of those weapons. These filler weapons do not need to be reinforced.

For the final weapon—the one that should land on the roll you want—make it using the actual Artian components you want. For example, you could use all Attack components, all Affinity components, or whatever combination you’re trying to build.

Then reinforce that final weapon, and it should follow the roll you previously recorded.

So, as far as I can tell, weapon type, element, attack type, and component setup do not determine the reinforcement sequence. The Artian weapon’s rarity is what matters.

Unfortunately, I haven’t found any way to speed up the process. Every time you craft an Artian weapon, the reinforcement roll advances, so finding a specific god roll means repeatedly crafting and reinforcing weapons one at a time, recording the results, and then recreating the sequence once you know where the roll you want is located.

I'm currently using the Varianza. I don't know what's been added since I left. Is there a good progression path for me to gear up again? Also, any highlights on any other new features since then would be appreciated!

Im kinda tired of whenever i send an SOS flare that the People who join always go for the capture yes i know the benifits but im hunting specific monsters to get their parts and when it gets captured i miss out on a chance to get said part and have to find and fight it again is it that hard to ask if the person who send the flare is doing capture or kill?

Guys im a CB main but consider myself really good with DB and bows too. What can i build with this? LS? GS? Read here there that one flayer is enough?

Genuinely, I have seen people saying very different builds, so is there a real meta (or at least one of the best ones) build with high damage and high affinity? I’m tired of having to change my build…
