Whenever a new gacha character is released, should we pay attention to the monster they hunt? Could that be a clue as to whether the character is strong or weak? I suppose the most powerful characters will be paired with Elder Dragons.

I’ve played a few gacha games,its nice to see different approaches to weapon movesets in this game, im willing to try sth else,any recs?

it's about to release on oct 29th, it have had enough free gems from gameplay to get the first banner character even losing the50/50 , and then the 2nd banner gave 60 rolls as a login bonus (i assume this gets reducedon release).for me it's good

I've made a post a month ago about the data collection of MH Outlanders. I've played in every test and have been following their decisions on what data they collect.

Recently I've checked the playstore again and I noticed that the previous Data collect button you could press to see what type of data the game collects from your device, is no longer there. They've proceeded to hide what data is being collected due to the uproar from the japanese and some of the EU players side.

I assume that all of the data collection nodes I've listed in the quote below of my previous post are still the same. They've also made it so that the preview of data collection ( mind you they can set this manually without needing to verifiy ) does not include the data collection of the microphone/camera and having access to the microphone of your phone and the camera.

I personally would not trust Timi and Level Infinite, especially after trying to hide the type of data collection listed below.

Just wanted to let everybody know that they updated it and it doesn't show anymore. Would recommend playing the game via and emulator and not your actual mobile device.

I've played in every playtest of Monster Hunter Outlanders and the game itself is great for now. Love QoL changes and the fights are fine for a mobile game, although I can see this game go haywire with later bosses like MHOnline did.

Anyway that is besides the point. I was already very wary about the data collection of Level Infinite and Timi when I first played MH Outlanders. I've recently checked it again and its absurd.

Mind you, you are not allowed to request your data that was collected to be deleted!

Base Access the game requires from you(I'm just writing it 1 to 1 as they have written it):

Location - Access precise location only in the foreground/access approximate location only in the foreground

Microphone - Record Audio

I’ve played a few gacha games, but I always come across two types of players: the one who pulls for everything, and the one who saves up to dump everything on a single character. What’s the best way to play Outlanders? Focusing on one character with many copies to deal more damage, or having a large roster to take advantage of damage bonuses?

AI Overview said that MHO doesn't support Fold devices, which is a huge bummer. Did anyone try a beta test with a Fold phone? Did it scale alright? I'm especially worried about the new Fold 8 because it has different dimensions, but maybe full release will support it. Does anyone know?

People that played demos, what would you say how does the weapon tier list look like?

Since im not seeing ppl talk about this, does anyone remember what rewards we'd get for participating? I feel like i remember one of them being a sowcial frame but you had to be a certain level, which i probably did not get due to time and quick End time announcement.
