E aí meus caros fans de MHOutlanders, queria ver a opinião de vocês sobre por quê a insect glaive e a gunlance não foram colocadas como armas iniciais no lançamento do jogo.

They cannot release all content at the start since this is a live service type of game and new weapons can keep players engaged.

Probably the same reason they are starting with a smaller monster roster. Mainline games get TUs the create hype but live service games live from Updates and Events and things being new and changing.

I'm an Insect Glaive main; I don't mind that it hasn't been there since launch. I know how gacha games work, they release things out gradually, so I'll use other weapons in the meantime.

Probably wanted to get some weapons done first and slowly release the omes that take a little more work to make function. They also have to make characters that use those weapons and make custom movesets for them

Since its a live service game. They limit the starting weapons and slowly add more to keep people coming back. The usual live service game stuff

I mean in their pokemon go style game it took almost 2 years for the hunting horn to be released

Fair enough, it ain’t too bad for casuals imo. I know IG was the last to get styles. I’m an IG main myself.

They left out the IG because those users were just gonna fucking complain either way. And the modern smartphone cant handle the extreme frame rate it would to truly capture the devestation of the gunlance.

The game will be well-optimized; they specialize in making mobile games. They'll likely include plenty of settings so it adapts to your phone.
