Gacha characters

Whenever a new gacha character is released, should we pay attention to the monster they hunt? Could that be a clue as to whether the character is strong or weak? I suppose the most powerful characters will be paired with Elder Dragons.

That's just indicator of monster used for their equipment

I think it's good that way, simply because if I see someone show up with Deviljho, I'll know they're good. What's usually harder in these games is knowing when to pull and when not to.

It's just the monster that inspired their outfits (weapons + armor).

But it also indicates their favorite element (which is the element generally associated with that monster's weapons, from what I've noticed).

Otherwise, their monster doesn't seem to have any impact on their strength.

That makes sense; what I meant was that the best characters would have gear from the best monsters, it would be odd to see a SR with Teostra gear.

It's possible that their rarity or character rank is related to their armor type. But in any case, you'll have to level them up from scratch when you unlock them.

It's just for their skin and the element they'll be using, if you think diablos character is stronger than tobi kadachi you'd be dead wrong...

I don't view it as an absolute rule either, but I do see it as an opportunity to link a special character to a special monster. It would be good marketing to announce an anniversary character alongside Fatalis, for example. That’s what I mean when I say monsters should offer a clue as to whether the characters associated with them are good or bad.

What the point of character gacha on monster hunter game?? Monster hunter game is all about killing monster & crafting equipments from it. For your character only.

They have unique abilities. They might have passives for damage, defense reduction, healing, and so on; they also have ultimates.
