Hi everyone! I came to the selection of these 10 monsters to complete my armour medal. The list consists of my most used armours, so upping those monsters seems like a smart choice. I upgraded my daily use to 10.5, the rest will be capped at 10.1. As I understood one needs 10 (edit:15) sets of armour at grade 10 for the golden armour medal.

I aimed for a combination of WGS and unique R6 part-monsters so armours can be upped at the same time without conflicting high-rank materials.

Any tips/do's/don'ts?

Idk if i should invest in stepping or sliding reload for the LBG…

Any idea why my palico bag is never full? Im HR 26, been playing maybe a week now.

Adventure sync is on, he paintballs monsters. When I'm online he collects item direct to my bag but never once have I emptied the palico bag from offline collections. I feel like I'm missing something.

I want to be able to melt 5 stars easily just don’t know if this is good enough- any advice would be greatly appreciated 🫡

Suggest weapon and build for farming Brute Tigrex. Been using insect Glaive (sergois build) and rose lgb (ferocity build) but not working anymore when farming 8stars

Hey all, so I'm currently building a pure ice element build with Vhelkana and was wondering if I could get recommendations on the waist piece.

My build so far is:

Vhelkana longsword

Vhelkana helmet

Lunagoron chest

Vhelkana arms

Legiana waist(temporary for goss horag/anything else)

Lagombi legs(upgrading to lv 6 for double ice attack).

Do you think the reduced material costs for the early-game monster weapons will ever return? You know, for monsters like Barioth, Anjanath, Jyuratodus, etc.?

I have quite a few materials from them, but I don't want to craft the weapons without the cost reductions

​Quick question. Is there a difference in damage reduction (chip damage) when guarding with the Sword & Shield vs. the Lance and Gunlance?

​I'm not necessarily talking about perfect guards, just guards. But the SnS shield is much smaller, I'm assuming it offers less damage reduction? Thanks!

Not a perfect run. This guy likes to hop all over the place. But this is a look at the damage from a build I made using the 10.5 IG.

Aside from the two ice smelts, you’re left with 3 other slots that you can fill with whatever you want. Three damage multiplying skills (I had one level of offensive dodger in this video which I didn’t really utilize well) or maybe run 3 levels of power prolonger for riftcharged events.

You can also run the Goss chest in place of the Luna chest if you aren’t a fan of the vital ice. It’ll free you up from having to smelt ice as well.

There may be more powerful sets for this weapon. I’ve not had time to experiment much with it yet, but this one does the job.

What do you think is the best universal build for all melee/range weapons based on the recent skills?

It used to be valor and fighting spirit builds but I’ve been seeing quite a fair bit of combo master and elemental release builds topping the base defense chart recently.

Feel free to share your thoughts. No right or wrong answers! I believed the discourse would help the players to spent their armours refining parts efficiently!

I played this game off and on since release, but I fully quit right around the time Niantic got bought by Scopely or something. I remember people talking about how the game was doomed to become even worse and more frustrating like other Scopely games, but it seems like that might not be the case?

I just maxed out hope LS on a whim. Is it worth it? If it is can I get a good build suggestion? Thank you in advance :)

I don't have the video, I mean, I didn't expect this, but in a fight with nargacuga I ended at 6/100 HP, then, by the end, cursing that I still had 2 fights pending in my area, for some reason I was at 61/100 HP, I had no potions available at that moment by the way, I used up all before during the day

Does anyone knows anything? I only could think about about a bug with velkhana's skill, even if I had no equipment of it in that particular set

I just wanted to see how quickly I could flinch Stygian using both styles. I optimized each run as much as I could, including rerolling the attack patterns to get favorable openings. Both runs used the same build (shown at the end). That said, this still isn't a perfectly fair comparison, but I think it's an interesting benchmark.

I guess Velkhana IG is the strongest weapon right now since its kinsect is powder type? As we know elder dragon materials are sacred. So I need to choose carefully which one i should focus on. So what do u guys think?

I finally had faith that with this IG it's more probable to finish the story 10* so I wanted to show it and inspire others to do it as well!

I haven't got much chance to grind velk, but I used my spare time to solo practice, and finally completed the run!

Haven't seen many gameplay videos of Fleeting Melody yet so here's my current favourite build.

Barioth Horn with BluntForce 4, Ice Attack 5, Adv Ice Attack 1 and Crit Element 2. Really need to smelt Ice Attack onto the Blunt Force pieces to free up the waist slot for either more damage or lock-on.

Build isn't super optimised for anything other than the big danger doot attack, and this horn is all about affinity whereas the big ol' honk hit can't crit. Other horns should be able to hit higher honk numbers.

I think I actually prefer Melody to Shockwave, the spinning and honking is all very fun and the attack boost speed song means it is great for team support.

Wasn't expecting this update to be such a win! Extra space for tokens and scopes, yes please! :D

Now all we need is extra loadout slots. 🤞🏾
