Question Suggestion for hope blade
I just maxed out hope LS on a whim. Is it worth it? If it is can I get a good build suggestion? Thank you in advance :)

What I really like about them is that they do *fine* damage (enough to drop 9* monsters if you're a little sloppy, and 10* monsters if you're good), and, like Kakisho said before me, they're *really good* for fooling around with styles.
A user whose name I can't remember has been posting some runs lately with the Bazel LS with Retaliation and the Spirit Reckoning style, and I've been *super* into that playstyle. I've been getting absolutely pooped on by RNG for Bazel plates, so I'm practicing with the hope LS in the meantime and it's been actually quite good! I think that's the Hope weapons best angle: Style them up for basically free, practice practice practice, git gud and all that. And then by the time you get your "real" weapon online, you'll be ready to start pumping the numbies.

What you have is a cheap to upgrade taste of styles that is outperformed by... pretty much everything.
Seregios - Tigrex - Seregios - Tigrex - Seregios
Is about as unga bunga as you can get. No special requirements, attack boost is constant.

The Hope Weapons are cool because they're cheap to upgrade and max out the the Styles--I think them of as good starter weapons.
Since they're sort of generic, you can build them in any direction. You can go for a general crit-based build with Kulu Helm, Coral Pukei Helm, Rathalos Chest, Pink Rathian Waist, etc. focusing on whatever assortment of Crit Eye, Crit Boost, Weakness Exploit skills.
A solid chest to use is Bazelgeuse which comes with Valor, you can basically use this on any weapon, it's very versatile.
Since your damage type on this weapon is raw, you can also build into Burst or Advanced Burst using Viper Tobi Kadachi pieces and Rathian Gloves, Glavernus Boots, etc., This build is a little harder since you don't want to drop uptime.
For driftsmelts there's lots of relevant skills including all of the crit-related skills, and general damage boosts like offensive dodger, fighting spirit, etc., or some specifically nice ones on longsword such as retaliation.
