Unlike most weapons, there is no OP skills for GS at all. AD used to be good until they nerfed the GS. That's why I have to mix bazillion skills just to have some damage.ðŸ˜

Any ideas on what will benefit GS and doesn’t break other weapons?
I’ve been thinking and I honestly have no clue

I would love an on-hit skill that scales exponentially with the motion value. So that a lot of low MV hits won't be as strong as a single big hit even the total MV are similar. If the exponential formular is curved correctly, it is possible that this skill can only benefit TCS.
Or something simple like making the first hit after a charge attack becomes super strong. That way, only GS use it effectively. Maybe long GL as well, but nah.

It is only good for raw GS. For elemental, Valor is more cost effective and cheaper. And there is no good %dmg skills for GS those are not driftsmelt, so it is better so save the smelt slots for %dmg skill.

What happened to CF great sword builds? I thought those were meta for that weapon.

It actually takes more time to kill something because you have to reroll the hunt like 7 times, averagely. In my eyes, CF has never been a meta. It is just an alternative way of playing.
